Nike Air Huarache “SNKRS Day” is Adorned With Wild Cheetah Print

There’s a boatload of classic Nike sneakers that have seen revivals on the market in 2021, and one that has been soaking up plenty of the spotlight is the Air Huarache. The classic silhouette — which was designed by the great Tinker Hatfield — has been offered in many a different colorway this year from collabs with Stüssy to original bring-backs, and now it’s being specially made in a new colorway that celebrates SNKRS Day.The palette of this lifestyle-centric rendition is mostly reliant on a stark black tone which wraps the inner bootie and the laces. Sitting at center stage are wild brown and black cheetah patterns which drop off along the mid-foot’s overlays. Vivid accents of a pale yellow and red also provide strong pops of color, the former of which dyes the toe boxes while the latter appears on the Huarache tongue logos and sides of the heel cages. The medial sides of the cages echo its celebratory theme by printing out “8.8.21” — the date of SNKRS Day — in black. Additionally, the “Got ‘Em” phrase that pops up on your mobile device screen when you win a SNKRS launch is stamped onto the insoles.Be on the lookout for these to drop on August 8 exclusively via the SNKRS app in Europe.Elsewhere in footwear news, a new Off-White™ x Nike Blazer Low has emerged.

Salehe Bembury Reveals Crocs Classic Clog Collaboration

Salehe Bembury has taken to his Instagram to reveal his long-teased Crocs collaboration: a Classic Clog that appears to be covered with a super-sized, textured version of his signature fingerprint motif. Bembury first hinted at the collaboration with a playful video back in February and has since posted two teaser images of it, but this marks our first full look at his efforts.Where collaborators like Palace, Justin Bieber, Bad Bunny and Diplo simply took the Classic Clog, changed the color scheme and added their own unique Jibbitz charms, Bembury redesigned it from the ground up. Crafted mostly of white foam, his Classic Clog features a richly ridged texture with oval-shaped cutouts in the forefoot for breathability. Contrast is supplied by black straps that connect a co-branded heel piece, a black rear outsole detail, and smoky black translucent forefoot hit that rises up onto the toebox to complete the look. With fashion-conscious clogs like Kanye West’s YEEZY FOAM RNNR and Merrell’s Hydro Moc enjoying vast popularity in 2021, Bembury’s clog is likely to be a hit of its own accord. It’s also a part of a busy summer for the footwear industry veteran, following up his Salehe Bembury x New Balance 2002R “Water Be the Guide” from June, and corresponding with his fingerprint-adorned Vans Era as well. A release date has yet to be announced, but more information is likely to surface soon.Hunting for further news on upcoming sneaker releases? Converse’s Chuck 70 “Hybrid Texture” Pack Offers the Best of Both Worlds

There’s no denying the staying power of Converse, and if you’re looking for a fool-proof pair of kicks to rock around in this summer then the Chuck 70 is an easy go-to. Now, that decision has been made even easier thanks to Converse’s new “Hybrid Texture” pack, comprising of a Chuck 70 Hi and Low in two unique bi-tone colorways.Starting with the Chuck 70 Hi, we find a palette of “Saturn Gold/Pink Salt” gracing the canvas uppers. The colors are found on both shoe’s respective lateral and medial sides, meaning each foot is contrasting but together they form a cohesive pair. A full-grain leather Converse All Star roundel appears on the “Saturn Gold” medial side, while an “Egret” tongue splits the pair in half alongside a set a matching laces that bring the sneakers together. As for the Low, you’ll find a clean combination of “Light Twine/Light Armory Blue,” which again adopts the same asymmetrical look alongside a tongue that splits the colors up. Naturally, silver eyelets have been added, as has an “Egret” sole unit and toe cap (like the one on the Hi).Both pairs can be seen above and purchased from HBX now. The Hi retails for $106 USD, while the Low costs just $98 USD.For more switched-up classics, check out Vans’ Vibram-equipped SK8-Hi and Authentic.
