JJJJound and PUMA Close Out the Year With Another China-Exclusive Capsule

A plethora of streetwear enthusiasts and sneaker aficionados have been impressed with JJJJound and its collaborative initiatives this year. The Montreal-based design entity joined forces with the likes of ASICS, New Balance, Reebok and more for special projects, and now to cap off 2022 it’s aligning with PUMA once more for another China-exclusive collection.The intention of this collaboration was for JJJJound to highlight the German sportswear brand’s classic pieces and rework them with its signature palettes. Leading the way for this range is the footwear which consists of two PUMA Suede colorways. One is fitted with “Burgundy” uppers while the other arrives with “Dark Green” bases, both of which are complemented by off-white PUMA stripes as well as angelic laces and sole units. JJJJound branding is printed on the heels with gilded finishes.Dropping alongside the sneakers is a velour tracksuit. The soft textured track jacket and sweatpants are backdropped in navy and feature tiny embroidered JJJJound and PUMA hits.Check out the pieces in the gallery above and expect this assemblage to release exclusively in China via select PUMA stores on December 24.In case you missed it, the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 “Montréal” colorway recently dropped exclusively in Montreal.

On-Feet Look at the Nike Dunk Low “Black Canvas”

The Nike Dunk Low has arrived in a new sleek black iteration. Amongst the many renditions slated to release in the new year, Nike has unveiled the popular silhouette in a black canvas build.The low-top silhouette is covered entirely of black canvas material, featuring a marbelizing white detailing across the entire upper for added highlights. The Swoosh is emphasized in black leather, to match the upper, as are the heels which include an embossed “Nike” branding. The show sits atop a white midsole and black rubber outsole to round out the design. Take a look above at the on-feet images of the Nike Dunk Low in “Black Canvas,” giving a 360-perspective of the shoe in action. The model is slated to arrive in select retailers and online at Nike in 2023 for $110 USD.In other footwear news, the Jordan Luka 1 rounds out the “Year of the Rabbit” collection.

PUMA and Nickelodeon Come Together for a “Slime” Edition of the MB.02

LaMelo Ball and PUMA have joined forces with Nickelodeon to bring a “SLIME”-themed basketball shoe to the courts. In celebration of one of the most nostalgic award shows of everyone’s youth, Ball is paying homage to the green goo with the new iteration of his signature shoe.PUMA Hoops has unveiled the PUMA MB.02 in “SLIME,” where the colorway embodies the fluorescent green substance. Arriving in the bright lime green colorway, the shoe’s entire upper is highlighted in the neon hue, with an ombré pattern that sees the green tint meld into a lemon/lime yellow near the collar of the shoe. To iterate the slime texture, the overlays feature a drip-like graphic. The NITRO foam tasks on the splattered look while Melo’s signature wings are also treated with the dripping effect and highlighted in a tint of red/orange on the tongue and heels.
