Boris Bidjan Saberi and Salomon are no strangers to working on collaborative projects together. The two parties have joined hands for numerous sneaker collaborations centered around models like the Speedcross 4 and the Bamba, and have even pushed out limited-edition snowboards. And with 2023 in full swing, the duo is back at it as it has just announced a brand new Fall/Winter 2023 collaboration that includes footwear and apparel: the 11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi x Salomon “Athletic Bouldering” collection.The concept behind this new initiative is merging Salomon’s heritage in outdoor sports with Boris’ fervor for climbing in a way that is centered around the idea of utilitarianism and bouldering. Only teasers of the products have been showed off so far, but we can already get a feel of the range’s function-first mentality. The kicks appear to be an updated Salomon XT variation that is done up with a stealthy motif. Designed with a lower cut, the sneakers are fashioned with zig-zagged overlays on the side panels and feature tiny white text branding toward the heel. Down below, the sole pieces are designed with a technical aesthetic that appears thicker at the heel for more support on the trails.Dropping alongside the kicks are waterproof parka jackets, trousers, tees and a hiking water bag. Save for the tee, the items appear to be fitted with a stark black nylon fabric.More information and closer looks at the products are expected to surface in the coming months.For other news, Salomon’s XT-Rush Utility recently dropped with a “Lunar Rock/Stone Blue” palette.

Over its lifetime, the leather and mesh construction has appeared in a plethora of eye-catching colorways. Now, Prada has dipped the sneaker in crisp cornflower blue/silver.Featuring the signature mixed-media design, the patent leather and adjacent mesh fabric inserts come in the cornflower blue/silver shade. For a clean look, the shoe includes a clean white flexible rubber sole and white shoestrings.
