Todd Klein is the new president of Fila USA, Inc., the North American subsidiary of Korean-based Fila Holdings. Former president, Jennifer Estabrook, has retired.
“Todd is the ideal choice to lead Fila USA as the group proceeds with our five-year (Winning Together) global strategy, cementing Fila as a consistent premium lifestyle sports brand driven by sustainable growth,” states Keun-Chang Yoon, president and CEO of Fila Holdings. “He has an innovative and inclusive business leadership background with a proven track record of turning consumer insights into commercial opportunities that create sustainable growth.”
Most recently, Klein served as Adidas Group’s vice president of advanced concepts. Prior to that, he directed sports apparel and footwear divisions for Fila in the U.S. and Germany. He also served as global sports marketing director for Reebok from 2004 to 2009.
The Winning Together strategy is designed to “unify products and marketing worldwide by redefining brand value, building its customer experience business model and sustainable growth,” according to a company statement.
“I am excited to join the Fila team,” states Klein. “Fila is an iconic sports brand with a strong foundation in performance and style. We will continue to build an inclusive environment that fuels the drive, creativity and future of our people. I am looking forward to working with the Fila team to unleash the full potential of the brand and athlete experience.”
