Sink Your Teeth Into the AJ1 Low Golf “Croc Skin”

Golf sneakerheads have been chomping at the bit to see what Jordan has up its sleeve for the new year, and now the brand has provided them a taste of what’s to come with the AJ1 Low Golf “Croc Skin” surfacing in two colorways.First up is the white croc, a close relative to the AJ1 Low Golf “Triple White” save for the Swoosh, forefoot and heel overlays where white crocodile patterned leather is found. The toe boxes and quarters arrive in the traditional tumbled leather, while the tongues, laces, Jumpman logos, midsole and outsole maintain the monochromatic look.Moving on to the next pair, the monochromatic theme is continued with faux crocodile skin used for the overlays and Swooshes, but the black croc deviates from its partner with a contrasting white midsole and grey Jumpman golf logos on the tongues and insoles. As with all pairs of AJ1 Low G’s, the outsole gets sharper teeth to maintain its grip on the golf course. While no release date is available yet, you can expect these pairs to drop within the first few months of 2023 for $140 USD.In other golf news, Malbon has debuted a nautical themed collection for lovers of golf and boating.

On-Foot Look at the Jarritos x Nike SB Dunk Low

In 2020, Ben & Jerry’s connected with the Nike SB team to create a pair of SB Dunk Lows that have already cemented themselves as a piece of SB Dunk history. Just two years later, rumors of another appetizing collaboration began brewing. Finally, November marked the first reveal of the upcoming Jarritos x Nike SB Dunk Low.With early pairs now circulating, on-foot shots of the Mexican soda brand’s first Nike collaboration have surfaced. Its detailing begins with a light gray leather base that is accompanied by hemp overlays. Collaborative touches come in the form of Jarritos’ signature green appearing at its Swooshes, co-branding and rubber outsole while its matching orange similarly lands on branding elements, a small portion of the outsole and is used as contrast stitching at the midsole. Branding notes begin with a Jarritos jug pouring out its classic Mandarin flavor towards the heel, a co-branded tongue design and heel branding that reads “NIKE” and “JARRITOS” across the two shoes. Completing the pair, tear-away layers under the Swooshes and overlays are also included, revealing an orange base as pictured below.Official release information and imagery has yet to be shared by Nike and Jarritos. Look for it to hit shelves in the coming months via Nike and select skate shops at a price of $130 USD. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Private Selection (@prvt.selection)In other footwear news, the Nike SB team is rounding out the year with SNKRS Exclusive Access for select SB Dunk Low styles that released in 2022.
