Taking on the leisure footwear purveyor’s signature style, A&P maintained the minimalist outlook of Scott Hawaii while adding the detail-driven design ethos behind its jiu-jitsu lifestyle offerings.The Albino & Preto x Scott Hawaii Makaha Slippers see A&P Mark mirroring the “SCOTT” logo tags found on the belt rank-colored straps. The tubular nylon straps are specially woven to create a form with no hard edges for comfortable wear. While the textured Rubalon insole wicks moisture away from the foot for added grip while providing comfort, support and durability. Finally, Scott Hawaii’s signature deck sole features arch support and a heel cup to function with the natural shape of the foot.The Albino & Preto x Scott Hawaii Makaha Slippers will be available June 15, 2 p.m. EDT on A&P’s website.For more footwear news, the Jordan Sophia Slide arrives in “Black/Red” and “Sesame.”

Gearing up the summer, Jordan Brand has introduced the women’s exclusive Jordan Sophia Slide. Debuting in “Black/Red” and “Sesame” colorways, the comfort-focused slip-on expresses mainly tonal colorways.The Jordan Sophia Slides feature line criss-cross strap uppers paired with a sculpted footbed for a smooth ride. The slightly platformed midsoles also feature Air cushioning at the heel for added comfort. Branding comes in the form of tags on the straps and Jumpman Air motifs on the Air heel units. Kanye West and adidas have been a team since 2013 and in just under a decade they’ve already changed the game significantly. Establishing the adidas YEEZY name, the collaborative partnership has continued to electrify the sneaker game with staples such as the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 and recent hits like the adidas YEEZY FOAM RNNR. Beyond that, the duo has presented eight YEEZY Season collections.However, it hasn’t always been smooth sailing for the two. West, who is no stranger to being transparent with his feelings, has taken to Instagram today to share a discontent with the Three Stripes for “blatant copying” with a picture of its upcoming Adilette 22 slide. Referring to it as a “fake Yeezy made by adidas themselves,” West is likely referencing his popular YEEZY SLIDE as the subject being copied. While the Adilette 22 integrates a unique geometric texture with its wavy look, the overall shape is certainly reminiscent of West’s slide with its thick midsole and sculpted one piece design. His frustrations may also stem from an upcoming adidas sneaker that seems to borrow heavily from the YEEZY FOAM RNNR.West has called for “Kasper,” presumably adidas’ CEO Kasper Rørsted, to come talk to him directly.
