Zion Williamson Celebrates His Love for ‘Naruto’ on the Jordan Zion 2

It’s no secret that New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson is a fan of Naruto. Already, he has worked with the franchise on thematic colorways that hit his first signature sneaker — the Jordan Zion 1 — last year. In addition, it was revealed that he would be continuing this three-way collaborative partnership with Jordan Brand and the iconic manga by outfitting the Air Jordan 37 in a “Rasengan” look. Now, his second shoe with the brand — the Jordan Zion 2 — has been prepared with a Naruto theme. This time around, two of the franchise’s most beloved characters — Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha — are nodded to with this multicolored rendition of the Jordan Zion 2. A black base is accompanied by a lateral in yellow and a medial in navy that references Naruto and Sasuke respectively. The silver heels see the Uchiha Clan’s fan symbol on the left shoe and the Uzumaki Clan’s spiral on the right shoe. As for the unique sockliners, the left shoe highlights Naruto’s Sage Mode whereas the right looks to Sasuke’s Rinnegan. Wrapping up the details of this court-ready look, Naruto’s “Believe it!” catch phrase is featured on the back of each tongue. For those interested, the Naruto x Jordan Zion 2 is expected to launch in a week. It will be landing on shelves on February 20 at a price of $120 USD via Nike alongside Williamson’s Naruto-themed take on the Air Jordan 37.Enjoy an official look at the pair above and for more exciting footwear news, multi-hyphenate Teyana Taylor is teaming up with Jordan Brand to release a special Air Jordan 1 High featuring rose-themed and jumbo Swooshes.

adidas Outfits the Rivalry Low 86 in “Core White”

As adidas Basketball geared up for 2023, the unveiling of the “Remember The Why” apparel collection’s first chapter marked a distinct pivot in style. Straying away from the look of traditional performance gear, it initially was thought to have been designed in collaboration with Jerry Lorenzo due to its Fear of God-esque minimal presentation. It turned out that Lorenzo did not play an official role in its creation, indicating that adidas is instead ushering in a new era of basketball gear itself.Spotted throughout the apparel capsule’s lookbook alongside its high-top counterpart, the adidas Rivalry Low 86 “Core White” is now hitting shelves. A throwback sneaker that fits into today’s styles neatly, the Rivalry Low 86 arrives in a leather upper with a white base supported by light gray at the Three Stripes, heel tab, midsole and tongue branding. Emphasizing its vintage appeal, a cream midsole and laces offer an aged effect. For those interested in the adidas Rivalry Low 86 “Core White,” its release date of February 15 is just around the corner. The kicks are scheduled to be available via adidas and select retailers at a price of $110 USD.In other footwear news, adidas Spezial’s Pre-Spring 2023 collection launched last week, featuring the adidas Italia SPZL in a denim-on-denim look.

The Crocs All-Terrain Atlas Means Business

Introducing a fully molded, closed-heel shoe for the first time ever, Crocs goes full gorpcore with its lastest All-Terrain Atlas silhouette. No doubt carrying over design cues from Salehe Bembury’s Crocs Pollex Clog, the upcoming pairs feature wavy tread patterns inspired by the topography of the Rocky Mountains. The adjustable nylon webbed cross-strap stretching across the vamp is fitted with a magnetic pull-release closure inspired by climbing hardware, and bottoms incorporate new Crocs MTN outsoles. Circular holes on the toe box section where Crocs’ Jibbitz would typically be attached are notably absent, though perforations are still scattered around the silhouette. Arriving shortly following the streetstyle-oriented Crocs Echo silhouette, the new in-line offering fills a new niche for those looking for more serious performance alongside the easy slip-on design. The Crocs All-Terrain Atlas is now available online and at select retailers in monochrome “Black” and two-tone “Stucco” for $84.99 USD.Elsewhere in footwear, And Wander and Salomon reconnect for XT-Slate sneakers.
