Straying away from the look of traditional performance gear, it initially was thought to have been designed in collaboration with Jerry Lorenzo due to its Fear of God-esque minimal presentation. It turned out that Lorenzo did not play an official role in its creation, indicating that adidas is instead ushering in a new era of basketball gear itself.Spotted throughout the apparel capsule’s lookbook alongside its high-top counterpart, the adidas Rivalry Low 86 “Core White” is now hitting shelves. A throwback sneaker that fits into today’s styles neatly, the Rivalry Low 86 arrives in a leather upper with a white base supported by light gray at the Three Stripes, heel tab, midsole and tongue branding. Emphasizing its vintage appeal, a cream midsole and laces offer an aged effect.For those interested in the adidas Rivalry Low 86 “Core White,” its release date of February 15 is just around the corner.
