Nike Releases the Air Structure in “Grey Fog/Black” and “Black/Smoke Grey” Colorways

Nike’s Sportswear division has a duo of models that are celebrating its 30th anniversary this year in the Air Huarache and the Air Structure. The latter, after being unveiled in a “White/Neo Teal” colorway, has just launched its “Grey Fog/Black” and “Black/Smoke Grey” palettes. The “Grey Fog/Black” iteration is the slightly more playful version of the two as appealing “Lapis” pops are distributed to the leather Swooshes and eye stays as well as the branding on the tongues and heels. Its perforated mesh underlay goes for a simplistic white and comes complemented with “Grey Fog” TPU heel molds and leather forefoot overlays in addition to stealthy suedes applied to towards the mid-foot and rear. Midsoles are prepared with more grayscale color-blocking on the lateral sides while the medial sides usher in a subtle splash of “Lapis” towards the back end.Its release sibling is one that is exclusively reliant on neutral tones. Black makes the biggest statement here as it cascades over the mesh base layers and accompanying mid-foot and heel overlays. From there, “Smoke Grey” notes spill onto the forefoot and angular rear molds, as well as the tongues. Angelic finishes are then shown off on the Swooshes and upper’s branding. Midsole pieces continue its motif by sporting white backgrounds with nominal tones. Both offerings are available right now via Nike for $120 USD a piece. In case you missed it, the Nike Air Max Plus was recently revealed in “Psychic Blue”.

NOAH and Vans’ Style 24 LX Collaborations Pay Homage to the Famed Venice Curbs

NOAH and Vans have joined forces for two special takes on the under-the-radar Style 24 LX, a throwback skate shoe from the late ’80s. Each is dressed in an archival camouflage pattern, and nods to an influential place in skateboarding history: the famed Venice Beach curbs, a spot where legends like Natas Kupas and Eric Dressen cut their teeth that’s still in heavy use today. One style uses a rich red base with black camouflage markings while the other opts for a more airy look with a white base below its black camo. The pattern selected was extremely specific — several Vans riders like the late Jeff Grosso wore silhouettes with a similar embellishment in the ’80s. Each also features a rubberized toe guard, a feature that was revolutionary at the time as it enabled skaters to get more durability and strength out of their footwear. High-gloss rubber midsoles with contrasting heel badges round off each look. Both colorways of the NOAH x Vans Style 24 LX are set to release via the NOAH webstore come April 8. The MSRP has yet to be announced. For more news on upcoming sneaker releases, be sure to check out the latest installment of HYPEBEAST’s weekly Best Footwear Drops series.
