Running footwear silhouettes for adidas have really taken off in recent years thanks to its technological advancements on the cushioning side. This is especially true for the Three Stripes growing catalog of 4D-infused models, and the adidas 4DFWD is one of the German brand’s more modern offerings that’s leading the charge. For the month of August, the premier runner is releasing in a bold “Signal Green” colorway that has just been unveiled by way of official imagery. The uppers — which are engineered with adidas’ sustainable Primegreen material — are flooded with its extremely loud titular hue, and come offset with black notes atop the side stripes and first three lace loops. Doses of neon pink also make their presence felt as they pop up on the lower lace loops, adidas running logos on the tongues and heightened parts of the heels. The latticed 4D cushioning units that lie underneath balance everything out with a full “Core Black” paint job. Additionally, a “4DFWD” text hit is written out across the insoles for more branded flair.Check out a further look at the pair above and find adidas dropping these come August 12 for $200 USD.Previously, adidas provided a detailed look at Arsenal’s new kits for the 2021/22 season.

Nike Air VaporMax 2021 “Wolf Grey/Volt” Sneaks Retro Air Max Logos Onto Its Swoosh
Nearly half a decade into its time on the market, Nike’s VaporMax line is still pushing the boundaries of what a casual Air Max silhouette can be and do. However, on the Air VaporMax 2021’s new “Wolf Grey/Volt” colorway it’s taking a look back too thanks to special Swoosh details. This unique Swoosh is placed smack-dab in the middle of the upper’s “Wolf Grey” Flyknit expanses and appears on both the lateral and medial sides. Each side shows a different assemblage of Air Max logos, ranging from the Air Max 95’s recognizable oval and OG Nike Sportswear hits to the Air Max2 Light’s circular graphic and the sharp-edged Air spellouts used in the ’00s. It’s trimmed by thick “Volt” thread as well. Apart from the special Swoosh, the rest of this VaporMax’s details are supplied by its uniquely stripped-back lacing system, firm TPU heel clip and black pull tabs. Down below, a fully translucent VaporMax cushioning unit is reinforced with rubber in high-wear areas for increased durability. There’s also a sustainable aspect at play, namely that each pair is made of at least 40 percent recycled content by weight — indicated by the flecked rubber on the outsoles and bright volt insoles alike. The Nike Air VaporMax 2021 “Wolf Grey/Volt” is available via the Nike webstore now, and retails for $200 USD.For more news on newly-released sneakers, be sure to check out the latest installment of HYPEBEAST’s weekly Best Footwear Drops list.
Vault by Vans Goes Back to the ’80s to Revive the Style 24
Vault by Vans is going back to a bygone era of the Van Doren Rubber Company with its new Style 24 release. A shoe from the ’80s originally dubbed “Goddard” and “Primosoll,” the Style 24 is a high-top canvas silhouette that’s seemingly equal parts skateboarding and tennis. It was a favorite of skaters like the late, great Jeff Grosso, and was also recently reintroduced to market via a NOAH collaboration. Two classic colorways are available: Vans’ signature checkerboard print in black and white and a rich navy. The checkerboard colorway is decidedly louder than its counterpart, thanks to its all-over pattern, repeating Vans logos and thick white eyestay piping. The navy colorway almost looks like a pair of blue jeans in footwear form, and is embellished with clean white contrast stitching. Both pairs are brought together by a sizable rubber toe cap. Though this detail is commonplace on many a skate shoe in 2021, it was a revelation in the ’80s thanks to the extra feel and durability it afforded skaters. White midsoles with Vans’ famous heel badge and signature waffle outsoles complete each look. The Vault by Vans Style 24 is set to release at Japanese retailers like BILLY’s Tokyo on August 13. Each pair is priced at a tax-included ¥9,350 JPY (approximately $85 USD).On the hunt for more news regarding upcoming sneaker releases?
