Nike Basketball Shares Official Look at LeBron 18, KD 13 and Kyrie 7 “Play For The Future”

Nike and its roster of hoop athletes is arguably the best in the business, and this season, the Swoosh’s basketball division is crafting a new capsule entitled “Play For The Future” for LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Paul George that champions sustainability. The Nike PG 5 was previously unveiled, and now Beaverton has given us a detailed perspective of the LeBron 18, KD 13 and Kyrie 7 iterations that are enlisted in the assortment. For the Lakers’ 18-year veteran, his latest model comes prepared with an icy palette as its Knitposite uppers are lent a clean white surface, while the protruding heel counter and midsole molds down below balance out with faint blue hues. Where this court-ready iteration gets environmentally friendly is through the tongues and heel underlays, both of which are decorated with multi-colored Regrind materials.Shifting over Durant’s makeup, his KD 13 takes a slightly darker approach by being anchored with silver-uppers and marbled blue and white patterns that run from front to back. Additional accents arrive by way of the pastel green Swooshes and interior lining, as well as the scrappy accents that are positioned below the ankle collar’s see-through film. Below, the installment is mated with speckled midsoles and translucent treading. For Uncle Drew, Nike takes a different route and opts for a much louder presentation. Netted base layers cage over a vivd backdrop of orange and black abstract patterns, and arrive neighbored by a stark black spine that hosts a remixed “KI” logo with floral petals that poke out from the top. Regrind fragments also see their way to the forefoot and Swoosh logo molds. Additionally, the tongue logos split between Irving’s logo on the right and an “ASW” notation on the left. You can view detailed shots of the kicks here, and note that the entire assortment is set to drop via Nike SNKRS Korea on February 23.For more footwear news, official images of the Nike Air Max Tuned “Celery” have emerged.

The Nike Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% Receives a Crisp “Hyper Turquoise” Makeover

Nike and its innovative family of NEXT% models finds itself among the cream of the crop in terms of running shoes on the market right now, and one that has been gaining a sizable amount of steam is the Air Zoom Tempo NEXT%. Following the reveal of its offering that’s inspired by Shanghai architecture, the everyday runner has now been brought to light in a fresh “Hyper Turquoise” colorway.Exuberant in aesthetic, the low-cut model opts to drip its tightly-knitted upper base in its titular tone, which in turn gives way for its darker-themed accents to overtly stand out. Unfinished lateral Swooshes which bleed down onto the midsole, medial side Nike checks, insole branding and heel tabs are all identically styled in black. Furthermore, “Chlorin Blue” notes poke out through the shoe’s branded embroidery that runs down the aforementioned tab.Midsoles are primarily swathed in a clean white, but also bring in more “Hyper Turquoise” splashes which rest atop the forefoot. Exposed Air units are formed with a see-through shell which houses “Chlorin Blue” Air units. All-black outsoles are stacked down beneath to finish off its design. If you’re seeking to cop a pair, Nike Japan has these available now for ¥24,200 (approx. $230 USD).If lifestyle Nike runners are more your style, the Air Structure Triax 91 has been revealed in a retro colorway.

Nike Sportswear to Release the Air Tuned Max “Celery” in Retro Form

Nike is home to an incessant list of lifestyle runners, and this year the Swoosh has explored through its 1999 archives and elected to bring back one of its popular silhouettes from that era: the Air Tuned Max. Official imagery of this iteration has popped up shortly after the silhouette’s “Midnight Navy” installment was revealed.OG schemes which entail darker-toned bases coupled with drab-yet-shimmery overlays are tapped for this retro proposition. And if its color coordination looks somewhat to you, that’s because British rapper Skepta alluded to this very colorway for his Nike Air Max 97 collaboration that launched back in Fall 2017.Most of the real estate is dependent on a “Dark Charcoal” hue which is tasked to flood the knitted base and abstractly-shaped TPU molds that hug the lateral and medial panels. Iridescent overlays abut these darker sections atop the toe caps and ankles as well as the heels, the former of which are presented in “Saturn Red” while the latter channels the a muted green to reflect that of its moniker. Additionally, vivd yellow hits make an appearance atop the throat trimming, backside’s Swooshes and insole backdrops.Semi-chunky midsoles which are sculpted with wavy patterns are dripped in all-black and complemented with a translucent rear end which encases faded brown Air units. So far, a European release date of February 25, 2021 has been confirmed for retailers such as Subtype for $250 USD. A stateside Nike SNKRS launch has yet to be announced. In case you missed it, detailed photos of the Nike Dunk High “Syracuse” retro have surfaced.
