Spearheading New Balance’s surge in popularity over the past couple of years is its classic 550 silhouette which has recently surfaced in a range of more experimental color options including the pink-tinted “White Scarlet” colorway. Recently surfacing in the pair’s original two-tone color blocking are two more 550 introductions in “Silver Birch” and “Aura Purple.”The “Silver Birch” colorway arrives as a more subtle fall-friendly option featuring soft beige hues while the “Aura Purple” is a standout take that matches previous collegiate-inspired releases. Both pairs feature a blend of white smooth perforated leather uppers with accent colors incorporated on the underlying mesh and lateral “N” logos. Classic New Balance basketball logos are shown on the tongue tabs and “NB” speed mark logos decorate the heel. Rounding out the design are white midsoles and two-tone non-marking rubber outsoles.Take an official look at the New Balance 550 “Aura Purple” and “Silver Birch” above and expect the pairs to release on August 11 on the New Balance website and at select retailers for $110 USD.Elsewhere in footwear, Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 574 “Conversations Amongst Us” receives a release date.

TOMBOGO and Saucony Introduce The Butterfly
Tommy Bogo’s TOMBOGO has continued to make noise in 2022. The J Balvin co-signed label is following up on its “Nature is Healing” Earth Day capsule with the launch of its much-anticipated collaboration with American footwear brand Saucony. Showcased at New York Fashion Week in February and Paris Fashion Week in June, the duo has introduced The Butterfly as its collaborative project.This three-in-one sneaker offers several choices for owners. Its sock-like removable layer can be worn in or outside of the also wearable outer shell. Both operate as slip-ons, connecting to the ongoing craze for laceless looks. Co-branding is included at the heel, both sides of the midsole and the custom holographic box. The colorway itself offers various shades of gray throughout, with lighter tones on the upper. Lastly, red accents the pair via the branding, stitching and front pull tab, completing this futuristic look.After months of teasers, the TOMBOGO x Saucony The Butterfly sneaker is finally releasing. Reebok Brings Back the Question Mid “Blue Toe”
In continuation of Reebok’s Allen Iverson retros for 2022, the Question Mid “Blue Toe” is making a comeback. Allen Iverson’s first signature model was found in the old-school colorway during his NBA rookie season. Now a symbol of Reebok basketball heritage, the Question Mid carries a legacy behind it.Celebrating 25 years since its debut, this recreation of the Question Mid “Blue Toe” stays true to the original. A white tumbled leather lands on the upper and is met with a blue pearlized leather toe box that provides this colorway’s signature design element. White laces and Reebok branding hit the ghillie lacing system while embroidered Vector logos further nod to the brand. Additional branding includes the “Q” logo at the heel in white. Rounding out this remake, OG-inspired Question packaging, a blue translucent outsole and a custom rookie Iverson sockliner are all included.Look for the Reebok Question Mid “Blue Toe” to make its return August 19 via Reebok and select retailers at a price of $160 USD. For those looking to get their hands on an early pair, sneaker boutique Packer will be releasing the shoe in limited quantities August 12.
