adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Pure Oat” is Dropping This Spring
After doing it big in 2021 with the release of countless YEEZYs, Kanye West is gearing up to have another monumental year in 2022 with the introduction of new colorways and models. His staple adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 isn’t going anywhere as a profusion of new makeups are in order to be launched to the market in the coming months, one being the “Pure Oat” colorway that’s been revealed by YEEZY MAFIA.At first glance, this forthcoming variation may look extremely similar to the standard “Triple White” 350 V2s, but it possesses a slightly different color palette that gives it permission to stand on its own. No adjustments are made to the base layer materials here as they are molded with the traditional PrimeKnit, and this layer is covered with a “Pure Oat” tone. The shoe laces, pull tabs on the heels and interior lining all follow suit with the same color, while the post-dyed monofilament side stripes are brought to life with a see-through aesthetic. Ribbed midsole pieces that are packed with BOOST cushioning is also given an icy exterior, and the insoles are marked with a black globe logo and “YEEZY” spell out to indicate that these are made with earth-friendly materials. You can expect adidas and other shops to drop these during Spring 2022 for $220 USD.Looking for other sneaker news? Reebok Reveals New Zig Kinetica II “Edge” Colorways for SS22
Reebok undoubtedly left a good impression on the sneaker world in 2021 with a multitude of new collaborations, retro bring backs and fresh colorways and more, and it’s poised to have another big year in 2022. This January, the vector brand is kicking off its footwear initiatives with the release of more Zig Kinetica II “Edge” colorways, both of which are executed with a collection of earthy tones that are inspired by an urban jungle and the ways in which society interacts with nature. There’s a duo of iterations involved in this SS22 launch, one that is a unisex pair and one that is geared towards the women’s demographic. Both pairs are designed with intricately styled uppers as they feature woodgrain patterns across the side panels — a noticeable shift from the traditional warped graphics that we last saw on A$AP Nast’s collaboration — along with perforated leather overlays in the forefoot and quilted overlays towards the rear. The unisex offering bears a mostly muted gray upper and sits adjacent to pink, brown, green and orange accents while the iteration for the ladies is crafted with a lighter gray base layer with cream, bright blue and yellow notes. Both installments come fitted with chunky, off-white midsole pieces and black treading as well as toggle laces to stress its trail-ready personality.Reebok has both of these colorways dropping on January 15 for $130 USD a pop.In case you missed it, Cardi B’s second Reebok collaboration has been unveiled.
