Jordan Brand is Dropping an Air Jordan 1 Mid “Valentine’s Day” Colorway
Valentine’s Day is typically a time where sportswear brands will display their craftiness by making sneaker colorways that align with the holiday for lovers. In 2022, Jordan Brand is chiming in on the action by whipping up a playful women’s Air Jordan 1 Mid “Valentine’s Day” colorway, and it has just emerged onto the scene by way of official images. The February 14th holiday is traditionally associated with brighter pastels and blends of rosy colors, and that’s exactly what gets delivered on this pair of J’s. Soft shadings of dusted pinks alternate between the toe boxes, quarter panels and the overlays closest to these areas, while the lower heel overlays and ankle flaps elect to go with a muted rose hue. Extra contrasting hits are visible through the ball-and-wings logos and Swooshes which are done up with a shimmery hot pink while the tongue and collars are styled with a clean white mesh. If you peep the kicks from the back angle, you’ll find a set of three roses debossed into the lower heels in alternating tones, all of which are symbolic of the floral bouquets that are often gifted on the annual celebration.Expect these to drop via Nike and other retailers sometime closer to February. In other news, more photos of the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT “Chicago/Black Toe” have popped up.
Cactus Plant Flea Market Has Another Nike Dunk Low Collaboration on the Way
As long as the Dunk is the center of attention amongst crazed sneakerheads, Nike plans to capitalize on this by calling on its biggest collaborators to produce striking collaborative offerings. In 2022, we’re going to see the Swoosh reconnect with Cactus Plant Flea Market for a fresh new take atop the Nike Dunk Low.No official information has been released about the shoes just yet, but based off of the first glance of kicks, we can already tell that these carry a substantial amount of nature-inspired sensibility. For this forthcoming installment, Cynthia Lu completely revamps the look and feel of the classic basketball-turned-lifestyle silhouette by forming the uppers with quilted triangles and mossy green suede overlays. On the right shoe, you’ll find an oversized yin and yang insignia embroidered into the lateral heel while the left shoe has a duo of Swooshes — one oversized on the quarter and a tinier version by the collars — embedded into its lateral wall. Additionally, the left shoe bears thick, skater style shoe laces and Nike Air tongue branding while the other side is styled with brown rope laces and a CPFM Nike insignia. The interior mesh lining deviates between each kick as well, the left arriving with a brown interior while the right side skews to an olive green. Heat map graphics also arrive on the shoe inserts in similar fashion to the brand’s past Nike collaborations.Additionally, the midsole pieces appear as if rough grayish green cement were purposefully smeared all of them. Peep a first look at the pair above and note that these should be dropping to the public in the coming months. In other sneaker news, Air Jordan 1 Low Golf is dropping in a “Chicago” themed colorway.
