Overkill’s adidas Equipment CSG 91 is Adorned With Pastel Accents

adidas is home to a wide range of special footwear lines, one of which is the EQT series that first launched in 1991. And now that it’s been around for 30 years, the Three Stripes is commemorating its anniversary by linking up with various retailers on shoe collabs, the next being Europe’s very own Overkill which has lent its touch to the adidas Equipment CSG 91.For this makeup, the German retailer wanted to pay homage to the first generation of adidas EQT shoes and put its own pastel twist on its iconic trio of colors. Neutral tones have the strongest presence on this collaborative iteration as a pure white coats over the toe boxes, mesh quarter panels, mudguards, tongues and the collars while “Gray One” touches up the overlays. Dusty red, blue and green hits accent the stripes, taping and the adidas branding that sit on the tongues and the left shoe’s heel. Parked on the back of the right shoe is Overkill’s signature emblem. Another smaller element to point out here is the added set of stripes that plants itself on the midsoles to match up with the base.Overkill will be dropping these in store come October 16 and online on October 23 for €140 (approx. $162 USD).Elsewhere in the realm of kicks, Mark Gonzales revealed his upcoming adidas Skateboarding x Superstar ADV.
