Reebok and Eames Reunite For Club C 85 You Can Actually Buy

Following its not-for-sale friends and family-exclusive Club C, Reebok and Eames reunite for a fresh “Modern Beige” take on the famed silhouette, which this time is set for general sale.Without a doubt one of Reebok’s most recognised silhouettes, this reworked Club C features a “Modern Beige” canvas upper that’s been doused with Eames’ all-over dot pattern, which is the base for an Eames logo in place of the traditional Reebok branding. The tongues are dressed in the same dot pattern as the upper, and act as a placeholder for a monochromatic co-branded Eames Office x Reebok logo, all of which sits atop the archetypal Club C sole.Arriving in a co-branded box and with both “Modern Beige” and black laces, this latest Eames x Reebok Club C 85 is set to drop on October 1 via the Sivasdescalzo webstore. In other sneaker news, here’s a closer look at Patta’s upcoming Nike Air Max 1 “Monarch”.

atmos’ Motion-Blurred adidas Consortium EQT PROTO Is Almost Here

Ever since its birth in 2005 to celebrate the Superstar’s 35th anniversary, adidas Consortium has produced some of the Three Stripes’ most coveted sneakers — and now it puts the spotlight on the 30th anniversary of its ’90s EQT line, notably enlisting atmos to rework the Equipment Prototype. The anniversary celebration comprises 16 different installments that see a different brand overhaul four sneakers, with the likes of Sneaker Politics and solebox also putting their spin on the Equipment Prototype. For atmos, it renames the pair as the EQT PROTO, giving the sneaker a complete rework inspired by the concept of speed. As a result, the sneaker combines a mixture of lightweight materials and suede to create an upper that sees a yellow and grey-toned camouflage on the toe and heel — with the latter sporting embroidered dual-branding — alongside a suede black mid-section for support that overlays a motion blur mid-panel that’s emblazoned with adidas EQT branding on it.A mesh tongue with Consortium and adidas Equipment branding hits up the right and left shoe respectively, while atmos and Equipment tongue dubraes can be found below. For those interested in the pair, head over to atmos’ website to enter the lottery to be in with a chance of copping them before the draw closes on October 1, and for those lucky winners, atmos will also be gifting a history book on adidas EQT. The sneakers are set to cost ¥18,700 JPY (approximately $168 USD).In case you missed it, here’s a closer look at the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Monarch.”

Reebok’s Zig Kinetica II Edge Is Part Sustainable and Fully Tactile

The Reebok Zig Kinetica II has served as one of the sportswear giants’ biggest collaborative canvases, having been transformed by Brain Dead, Helen Kirkum, and more recently as an A$AP Nast-teased Edge iteration, and now the latter is set to arrive in two general release colorways.Dropping in “Modern Beige” and “Core Black,” the Zig Kinetica II Edge acts as Reebok’s sustainably-minded and rugged option in the line-up of shoes. Like the A$AP Nast version, the pair comes fitted with a Floatride Fuel midsole, a Floatride Energy toe cap, and a Vibram Ecostep outsole with strategically-placed studs for added grip, with the Vibram fitment working its way all around the shoe and even making out the rear heel cup.An upper using at least 30% recycled materials is made to be tactile and hardwearing, while elements such as the webbing strap that runs over the toe, the mesh under panel that incorporates the Reebok vector logo into its mid-panel, and the rope lacing system only enhance the utilitarian design features.Elsewhere, we find Vibram branding on the aforementioned heel clip, dual webbing straps on the heel, a toggle function to tighten the rope laces, and plenty of contrast stitching on both pairs to add to the tactile aesthetic. Rounding out the design is the speckled detailing on the Vibram outsole, matching the design of A$AP Nast’s pair. Both colorways of the new Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge are set to drop on sites such as Sivasdescalzo on October 1, costing €140 EUR each (or $163.50 USD). Take a closer look at both pairs above. In case you missed it, here’s a closer look at the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Monarch.”
