This Nike SB Blazer Mid PRM “Mosaic” Blends Earthy Tones With Muted Blues

Nike and its Nike SB division have picked up a substantial amount of steam again thanks to the resurgence of the Dunk, and its products are being shown off even more now as they have taken stage at this year’s Tokyo Olympics. Diverting away from the collaborations for a second, the Swoosh’s skate label is further building out its range of the Nike SB Blazer Mid PRM with a new “Mosaic” colorway. For this latest iteration, a balanced mix of both earthy tones and brighter hues take center stage. Built with wayward paneling, this mid-cut installment bears dusty pink mid-foot leather paneling and comes coupled with shaggy suede heels that are dyed in a muted brown. Various shades of blue touch down onto the laces and overlays that border the throat as well as in lighter fashion on the rear end’s overlays. The lower parts of the side Swooshes bring in contrast with its black exteriors along with a ribbed texture, and the toe boxes are splashed with a creamy coating. Midsoles complete its design with gum panels in the forefoot and heel areas while a bright white block is sandwiched in the middle.Nike China is slated to drop these on August 1 for ¥799 ($123 USD).For more footwear news, peep a look at the next Off-White™ x Nike Blazer Low colorway.

ASICS’ New Two-Pack of GT-IIs Nod to Mt. Fuji

ASICS has released a two-pack of new takes on the GT-II that nod to Japan’s Mt. Fuji. Arriving in a warm “Apricot” and a dark “Smoke Blue,” each pair seems to be influenced by the skies above Japan’s tallest peak with the former drawing from the morning while the latter pulls from the night. Both are constructed from a mixture of smooth and perforated suede. The “Apricot” offers a yin and yang of detailing on its midfoot Tiger stripes with the lateral side presented in dark blue while the medial side takes on a light sky blue. On the other hand, “Smoke Blue” keeps things consistent with silver on each quarter panel. Both pairs also feature a debossed Mt. Fuji stamp on the heel, an embellishment that’s replicated in full color on the insole. More ASICS branding is present on tongues and heels, while white GEL-filled midsoles and contrasting outsoles complete the look. The Mt. Fuji-inspired ASICS GT-II in “Apricot” and “Smoke Blue” will both be available at retailers like 43einhalb come midnight CET on July 30. Each pair is priced at $120 USD.Looking for more info surrounding upcoming sneaker releases? Be sure to take a look at the latest installment of HYPEBEAST’s weekly Best Footwear Drops series.
