Wolverine is teaming up with Mountain Dew on a seriously limited-edition collectible boot that pays tribute to the 50 states in honor of America’s 250th birthday. The collab includes 50 pairs of Mountain Dew x Wolverine Wheatland boots, which fans of both brands can win by entering their names online (at mountaindewxwolverineboots.com) in a sweepstakes running July 25 through August 1 and promoted through the brands’ social media pages. Winners are randomly drawn, and one entry daily is allowed.
The boots (in men’s sizes 8-13) feature Mountain Dew green outsole treads and a navy leather shaft embroidered with a landscape of mountains, rivers, trees, bald eagles, and of course, a Wolverine. Each pair has a Leather Star Hangtag with a unique outline of a state, making it one-of-a-kind. (Winners don’t get to choose the state they get.) They’re shipped in a “cool cowboy box” that ups the collectability factor along with co-branded socks and a sticker pack. Entrants can also win a Mountain Dew 12-pack and a code redeemable for a free pair of Wolverine boots of the winner’s choice.
