The name says it all. Wolverine’s new USA-Built Loader II DuraShocks Wedge 6” work boots pay tribute to America and the workers who help to keep it running. The newest iteration of the brand’s popular Loader II style are made in Texas by local workers and feature patriotic red, white, and blue details as well as a new outsole with patented technology to reduce foot fatigue.
The boots, which include both domestic and globally sourced materials, are part of a larger campaign from the brand underscoring the idea that “From the Minutemen of the Revolution to the irreplaceable trades workers of today, America is built by those who show up when there’s a job that needs doing.”
Available at authorized Wolverine retailers and through the brand’s website, the boots (MSRP $274.95) are designed to maximize comfort, stability, and support for warehouse, manufacturing, and trade professionals working long hours on concrete.
Features include:
Premium waterproof full-grain leather upper with red, white and blue stitching detail on the backstay
• Moisture wicking mesh lining
• Removable full cushioned PU footbed that molds to the foot
• Advanced comfort PU midsole
• Rubber wedge outsole with Wolverine DuraShocks pads to reduce impact on the body
• Goodyear Welt construction, which allows the boots to be resoled
• Nylon shank for support
• 13 DuraShocks traction bars on the outsole, a nod to the 13 stripes of the American flag
Wolverine’s campaign also involves:

a head-to-toe USA-built apparel collection that includes a Made in USA crewneck pullover crafted in California with a red, white, and blue embroidered chest patch pocket. More Built in the USA products are set to roll out
social media storytelling inspired by Revolutionary War Minutemen, likening them to individuals who show up and spring into action when their communities need them most, and to the can-do spirit of American workers.
“We honor the people who built this country and continue to keep it running today,” says Mike Maloney, global general manager of Wolverine. “The tradesmen of the past built the foundation we stand on today, and that same grit and determination lives on in the modern workforce. As the original work boot brand, Wolverine is proud to carry that legacy forward by combining heritage craftsmanship with the comfort and performance today’s workers depend on.”
