Chiappetta Laboratory LLC has launched a new cloud-based management platform that swaps paper-driven workforce voucher systems with an automated approach designed to make life easier for retailers as well as employers and employees. Called VouchPro.io, the SaaS platform replaces tedious paperwork, spreadsheets, and manual forms with automated invoicing and payroll deductions for retailers and employers.
“The functionality VouchPro.io offers is a game changer for retailers because it will help you land that $55K a year contract with the big boys,” says Anthony Chiappetta, CEO of Chiappetta Shoes, headquartered in Kenosha, WI. “If you can offer a free service as a retailer to a voucher partner, it makes their lives easier and is well worth the subscription cost, especially for larger companies.”
Chiappetta points out that while millions of American workers receive employer-sponsored footwear vouchers annually as part of workplace safety and benefits programs, the majority of them rely on physical vouchers, manual tracking, and disconnected billing processes. The result is friction for retailers, administrative burden for employers, and confusion for employees. VouchPro.io promises to eliminate all those pain points with:

Chiappetta came up with the idea for VouchPro.io after losing out on a workplace voucher deal last fall. “In September of 2025, I was pitching Chiappetta Shoes to become the exclusive footwear voucher supplier for a large local confectionary manufacturer in Kenosha,” he recalls. “The voucher and safety toe business is a major focal point for growth for us, and this would have been a huge win. It was the first time I had pitched a company in a corporate setting and, after having a few formal meetings, I thought it was a no-brainer for the employer to work with us because of our service, selection, and pedorthics. But I didn’t hear back.”
Two weeks later, he called one of the company’s HR managers to follow up and learned that he had lost the deal because a competitor had internal software to manage the employee rolls and vouchers. Chiappetta channeled his disappointment into determination. After searching for existing software services that could help him build his footwear voucher business but finding no options, he realized there was a gap in the market. So he built a product to fill it.
“I have very little coding skill, but I’m an avid user of AI services,” he explains. He tapped Lovable.dev, “and within five minutes it felt like playing with magic. It’s absolutely incredible the opportunities we have as humans to build super cool stuff.” He estimates the build took him about 100 hours over three months, working in the evenings and whatever other spare time he could find.
“A little farther down the road, this software [will be] essentially free to all employers that offer vouchers to their employees,” Chiappetta says. “The reason I’m offering this free add-on to any HR benefit manager’s tech stack is that VouchPro.io will become a marketplace for managing and prospecting voucher management partnerships. It also extends into the scrubs and uniforms business; we have functionality to offer payroll deductions, which is a big feature in that category.”
