Vault by Vans has moved away from its traditional silhouettes with the launch of the AMZN TRL V3 LX, created by designer Taka Hayashi. The silhouette is inspired by Vans’ Original Style #40 Buffalo boot, which is adorned with references to the Amazon rainforest.The Amazon inspiration includes a nod to the wavy path of the river and rainforest, while other natural elements such as river rock spiral etching and natural flow lines are also referenced through the boot’s detailing. Contrasting the natural influence, the hardware across the boot recalls vintage backpacks and climbing ropes.The AMZN TRL V3 LX is set to arrive in two nature-inspired colorways. The first is a mixture of “Marzipan” and “Pebble,” a nod to earth and sand, while the second colorway is “Deep Teal/Chalk Violet,” taking inspiration from the rivers and sunsets of the Amazon.Take a look at both the “Marzipan/Pebble” and “Deep Teal/Chalk Violet” colorways in the gallery above.
