Retailer Union Los Angeles has worked closely with the Nike team throughout 2022. Presenting highly anticipated colorways of the Dunk Low and Air Jordan 2 earlier this year, the label now pivots to the classic Nike Cortez to create the ‘Un-Cortez.’ While the “Sesame” version has already hit headlines in recent months, Union LA has now shared plans for a total of four colorways to come.Utilizing a pairing of canvas and suede on the upper, the ‘Un-Cortez’ collection departs from the standard Cortez look and introduces fresh ways to outfit the silhouette. Union LA design elements include the Frontman, “UN/LA” tab and logos combining Nike and Union throughout the pairs. The already revealed “Sesame” opts for a colorful combination of brown, red and blue shades throughout while its partner colorway, the “Off-Noir,” carries a simpler black and blue composition. Further looks feature in Union’s promotional video found below and include additional multicolor styles.The debut of the Union LA x Nike ‘Un-Cortez’ takes place exclusively via Union on June 21 in “Sesame” and “Off-Noir” retailing at $150 USD.
