Two Ten Footwear Foundation Names New Board Members, Introduces Scholarship

Two Ten Footwear Foundation is kicking off 2026 by welcoming two new leaders to its board. The industry nonprofit has named Jonathan Frankel (above, left), president of Aldo Product Services at the Aldo Group, as its new board chair. Ed Rosenfeld (above, right), chairman and CEO of Steve Madden, will become board vice chair for the organization.
“Jonathan and Ed bring a deep passion for our mission, as well as extraordinary industry experience,” states Shawn Osborne, president and CEO of Two Ten. “With both at the helm of our board, I see a bright future for Two Ten and the footwear industry at large.”
Frankel has served on the Two Ten Board of Directors since 2017 and helped to raise more than $200,000 for the nonprofit by completing the Race Across America as a member of the Aldo racing team. “Two Ten has supported the people of our industry for nearly a century, and I’m honored to steward this organization into its next chapter,” says Frankel. “As chair, my focus will be expanding our reach and ensuring no one in the footwear community faces life’s challenges alone.”
“I’m honored to serve as vice chair of the Two Ten Foundation board alongside an exceptional group of industry leaders,” states Rosenfeld, who has served on Two Ten’s board of directors since 2024. “The foundation’s mission of supporting footwear professionals and strengthening our community is deeply meaningful, and I look forward to working with our partners to expand resources and opportunities for colleagues across the industry.”
Scholarship Honors Outgoing Chair
Two Ten has also launched a new tradition of honoring its outgoing board chairs by creating a scholarship in each former chair’s name. Joe Preston is the first outgoing chair honored by the new Two Ten Emeritus Scholarship, which will support a footwear employee seeking higher education.
“Under Joe’s direction, Two Ten delivered an exceptional relief response after several large-scale natural disasters and expanded professional development programs for women and HR professionals in footwear,” notes Osborne, adding that “We wanted to do something that not only honored their board service but also connected to the Two Ten mission in a meaningful way. An educational opportunity like this, a scholarship that will be awarded every year in perpetuity and continue to lift lives in footwear, seemed especially fitting.”
