This new chapter of the Air Jordan lineage offers a modern build centered around the number 40, which is nodded to via the 40-degree angles utilized throughout.Each Air Jordan 40 colorway revealed so far has featured a unique upper, with this version of the shoe looking back to the original Air Jordan 1 for inspiration. The minimalist upper hosts a Swoosh at the lateral, combining with Wings branding at the medial collar and a stitched Nike Air tag at the tongue. Its “Chicago” color scheme blends red, white, and black with off-white at the midsole. From there, an “AIR JORDAN” callout can be spotted at the heel.At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not yet indicated when this Air Jordan 1-themed take on the Air Jordan 40 will be dropping.
