The Vibrant Air Jordan 6 Low G “U.S. Open” Is Ready for LA

In recent years it’s become a tradition for brands in the golf space like Nike to cook up limited edition versions of their most popular sneakers around major championships. In this year alone, the brand has already released a series of peachy Air Maxes for the Masters and a flowery set for the PGA Championship. For the U.S. Open which is being staged next week in Los Angeles, Nike whipped up a graffiti theme for the Air Max 1 G. Now we have an official look at a similar theme hitting the Air Jordan 6 Low Golf cleat. These golf shoes are not for those who prefer subtlety, as a purple airbrush effect combines with metallic silver throughout the upper. The latter is what makes up the shoes’ zig-zagging overlays, while a gradated purple serves as the backdropped underlays. The rounded toe box is where the purple softens to a light lavender hue, while the midsole is speckled with white to give off the airbrushed appearance. Elsewhere, flashes of fluorescent green provide contrast on the Jumpman logos, bubbles and insoles. Finally, the words “Jordan Golf” are scribbled graffiti-style onto the spiked, translucent outsoles.Set a reminder for June 16 if you’re looking to pick up a pair of these for $215 USD on other golf news, the PGA TOUR announced a ground breaking merger with Saudi-backed LIV Golf.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
