The North Face Presents Its NSE Chukka in “British Khaki”

The North Face is keeping things cozy for the winter season with a new iteration of its NSE Chukka silhouette.Recently, the outerwear specialist has curated a slew of padded footwear, all with comfortability and snugness in mind. For example, the brand’s recently-dropped Nuptse Corduroy Mule took inspiration from its classic Nuptse jacket and arrived with a textured upper, crafted from water-resistant corduroy. But it isn’t just The North Face that is presenting designs like this; adidas recently dropped a new Puffylette silhouette — and it again took inspiration from a heavy-set outerwear jacket to give one of our most important features, our feet, the coverage, and comfortability they deserve. With this in mind, The North Face is keeping up with this theme with its new NSE Chukka. The shoe pairs the comfortability of a sneaker with the everyday style of a big puffy jacket with its P.E.T. ripstop upper and rugged outsole to provide a thick, warm and versatile design that’s suitable for both outdoor exploration and cozy nights in the garden. For its technical elements, the NSE Chukka features a standard tongue that is covered in spacer mesh — this is used to make the shoe easier to slip on and off. Fully adjustable laces are also used, while the flow-through heel is featured to cradle the foot. Canvas rand is included for lightweight protection and finally, an outsole-grade molded EVA midsole rounds off the design. You can take a closer look at the new NSE Chukka above and it is available on The North Face’s official website and with select retailers such as Concepts now.In other footwear news, take a look at the new Vans x Atlas collaboration.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
