As the Nike LeBron series gears up for the release of its 20th silhouette, the collaboration between the sportswear powerhouse and LeBron James has also given its previous models some love with the resurrection of the LeBron 3. Set to release in the next few weeks, the shoe is dressed in a “Barbershop” colorway as a nod to King James’ family and hometown.Set on full blacked-out uppers, supple leather overlays mix in with an array of striped textures from the toe box to the ankle collar. A fuzzy tongue peeps out from under roped laces fastened with metal eyelets held down by red, white, blue stripes inspired by barbershops’ signature poles. Continuing the barbershop theme are the insoles which some may wonder if the shoe title is related to the LA Lakers SF’s roundtable program that features guests from various backgrounds in a discussion of life. The outer heel features a tilted-up Swoosh while the inner toe is embroidered with “BBZ” — representing his children Bronny (B), Bryce (B) and Zhuri (Z). Akron’s “330” area code can be found on the medial while the midsole and outsole follow the stark black theme with a sliver of silver sandwiched in the middle.Mark your calendars for the Nike LeBron 3 “Barbershop” slated to drop on July 13 at select retailers and Nike’s website for $185 USD.For more footwear-related news, take an on-foot look at the Neckface x Nike SB Dunk Low.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
