Nike reactivates its Hyperdunk X silhouette after a couple of years of hiatus since 2018. The shoe is known to be Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic’s favorite and in turn, the latest colorway takes after the Serbian player’s name. First introduced back in 2008, the Hyperdunk series was the brand’s first basketball shoe that uses Flywire technology and Lunar foam. None other than Kobe Bryant, presented the sneaker during the Summer Olympics in Beijing the same year and it continued to take off after an uploaded video of the legend jumping over the Aston Martin wearing a Lakers-inspired colorway. The current installment at hand boasts of an improved Flywire system that guarantees foot stability and is outfitted in a Denver Nuggets palette. A crisp white base equips the mesh uppers while a bright yellow hue hits the eyestays, interiors and Swoosh found on the insert. Dark blue accents round out the design by lining the ankle, Hyperdunk tongue pull tab and lateral Swoosh. A speckled midsole sits atop an icy rubber outsole to round out the look.Look out for the Nike Hyperdunk X “Nikola Jokic” to release via select retailers and Nike’s website in the coming weeks. In case you missed it, the Air Jordan 1 Mid received a fall-friendly “Tartan” makeover.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
