New Balance is persistent in its footwear journey, crafting kicks that dominate the feet of casual wearers far and wide. The Boston-based imprint’s 550 model has become one of its most popular, receiving a range of collaborative and inline makeovers. Following the unveiling of the vintage-inspired “Marquette” colorway, New Balance now presents the silhouette in beautified tones of teal, purple and pink.As per usual, the everyday sneaker arrives with a white leather base, featuring perforations at the medials and toe boxes. The latter dons a tilted cut, while the heel counters are decorated with teal blue suede. Above, purple mesh makes its way into the liners, accompanied by vibrant pink leather trimmings adorning the ankles. Spirited branding is maintained throughout, featuring creamy N logos at the quarters, pink “NB” lettering stamped at the rears, and lively basketball graphics embroidered into the tongues. 550 markings accessorize the forefoot, as the design is complete with white midsoles and two-toned rubber bottoms. This fresh rendition of the New Balance 550 is expected to hit shelves via New Balance and select retailers later this year for $110 USD.In other news, MLS colorways hit the adidas Ultraboost DNA x Copa.
