In the world of New Balance, retro-style kicks have taken over and show no signs of slowing down. A silhouette making unquestionable waves is the 1906R, which pulls together the ideal blend of sportswear and vintage aesthetic. The model made its debut in 2010 but unwinds with pure ’90s vibes. Following the introduction of the white and green colorway, the New Balance 1906R now hits the stage with a tonal design. Creamy leather overlays dominate, wrapping the rear half of the upper with linear detailing. The toe boxes and tongues see a breathable mesh construction, while protectant heel guards and medial N insignia arrive in a muted grey tone. Pre-worn midsoles bring the shoe together, finished with divided black and grey rubber bottoms. The New Balance 1906R “White/Grey” is set to drop later this year at New Balance and select retailers for $150 USD. In other news, Bodega joins Suicoke to create the Kaw “One of One”.
