A classic never goes out of style. But it can get a fresh new twist—look for proof at the Durango booth in Atlanta in the form of the new Rebel Ultra-Lite. This holiday collection update on the brand’s iconic Rebel boot incorporates new technology that’s lighter weight and promises improved support, says Mike Fuller, GM and vice president of the Rocky Brands subsidiary.
Available in both men’s and women’s styles, the Rebel Ultra-Lite honors the Rebel’s athletic-comfort-meets-Westernwear tradition, but modernizes it with a patented Dually Shank System (two shanks provide better midfoot stability) and innovative comfort technology, including a Cooling InsulKul ACS Footbed for shock absorption and fatigue-fighting support.
New on the scene and equally newsworthy is the Workhorse collection for men. Built for tough jobs, the boots come in three 11” square-toe styles and are available in steel toe and waterproof options for Spring/Summer ’26. All of them incorporate Durango’s trademark blend of performance, durability, and comfort tech, including the easy-on/easy-off X-Pand System and a slip-, oil-, and abrasion-resisting rubber outsole.
11″ Workhorse for men in Mocha Safari/Black
Also fresh for 2026 are new silhouettes in the popular Shyloh collection, including a Chelsea boot silhouette for men, three new 13″ Western boots for women, and three new boots for kids. Stepping in for long days in demanding ranch and work environments is the new men’s Red Dirt Rebel 5.5″ Chelsea boot with a steel toe, engineered with rugged performance features.
Heading into the show, “We anticipate an increase in demand for our product,” says Fuller. “We are in a really strong inventory position, when other manufacturers may not be able to ship in Q3 and Q4 with some supply chain disruption occurring.”
