All Black’s Fall/Winter ’26 lead story is to innovate from its strengths and add newness in areas that will continue to set the brand apart from the competition, says Marty Rose, distribution manager for North America. That includes refreshing its popular Man-Tailored group with lower lug and flat outsole treatments, new animal prints and faux shearling, and unique buckle enhancements.
Buyers should also take note of All Black bringing back its Italia group with fashion-forward styles made in “amazing” Italian leathers. Other highlights include expanded offerings in its Split Toe group with the addition of booties, loafers, and Mary Jane flats; “keeping just the right heel height” in edgier styles; updating “our passion” for retro looks; and pushing the fashion sneaker group to new levels that will “redefine the fashion trainer concept.”
Rose says All Black is putting its best foot forward in what remains a very challenging business environment. “We’re still suffering from the impact of higher tariffs and the uncertainty of selling the same level of orders at a noticeable price increase,” he explains, noting that some clothing boutiques are reducing or dropping shoes for fall because of an overall slowdown in their sales. “They want to reduce risk, and shoes are the first accessory to drop since they’re usually the most expensive.”
Of course, hope springs eternal. And Rose is hopeful that this spring will deliver. “We hope our spring collection, which is just starting shipping, will provide strong momentum for the rest of the year,” he says. “Buyers overall remain opportunistic, so that’s another reason for hope.”
