As part of Kanye West and adidas’ busy summer YEEZY release slate, the adidas YEEZY 500 is set to release in a clean “Taupe Light” makeup. A no-frills colorway that’s essentially a slightly darker-toned iteration of 2018’s YEEZY 500 “Blush,” the “Taupe Light” offers up more of the monochromatic style that YEEZY acolites the world over have come to know and love. The “Taupe Light” isn’t a shoe that needs an intricate description: from collar to outsole, heel to toe, it’s all the same light tan shade. Its main details are provided by its layered construction, namely a mesh base overlaid with a leather and suede cage, a suede toebox and oval-shaped suede eyestays. Down below, its wavy adiPRENE midsole takes some cues from adidas Basketball and Kobe Bryant’s classic KB8 III while outsoles with a blown-up herringbone traction pattern round off the look.YEEZY Mafia has reported that the adidas YEEZY 500 “Taupe Light” will release on June 19, though this bit of info has yet to be officially confirmed by the Three Stripes. However, you can expect the MSRP to be set at a standard $200 USD — in line with past models.
