One of the few colorways originally released as a low-top in 1999, the Air Jordan 14 “Ginger” returns with a more familiar mid-cut silhouette in 2022.The fourteenth signature shoe takes its design cues from Michael Jordan’s Ferrari F355, most notably featuring a Jumpman logo that has been reworked to resemble the sports car’s shield emblem. The midsole incorporates a vented motif to evoke the cooling system of a high-performance engine, while the strip of black rubber running down the heel mimics tire treads. Like the OG Low “Ginger,” the nubuck upper in this iteration is dressed in the namesake golden yellow and paired with a white leather toecap. Black tongue, laces, and accents complete the look. The Air Jordan 14 ‘Ginger’ is set to release on August 17 at select retailers and Nike for $200 USD.In other footwear news, Converse’s Sponge Crater CX now comes in an all-white colorway.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
