Manchester-based streetwear label Clints has just presented a first look at its new TRL 2.0 sneaker and this latest iteration of the silhouette takes inspiration from the lands of Japan.Since the brand’s inception in 2020, Clints has been experimenting with footwear as much as possible. From its first edition of the TRL sneaker and the Patta-co-signed Stepper to the recently-introduced Stomper boot, Clints is consistently making a bigger mark on the saturated world we call UK streetwear. And while Clints founder Junior Clint began working in fashion as a footwear designer, his brand is making waves in apparel designs, too. Recent highlights have seen the brand combine 1990s sportswear with coziness, while other drops have seen it step into the world of outerwear.Clints’ latest sneaker follows up on the Paris-inspired version that dropped during its pop-up store in the French capital earlier this year. However, this new version of the silhouette combines a fresh batch of understated tones that encapsulates Japan.Designed as a classic trek shoe, the TRL 2.0 features a Neoprene upper, while layered paneling is used for increased ankle and foot support. Furthermore, rubber branding is used on the heels and branded toe puff, while an EVA midsole and reflective 3M details round off the design. You can take a closer look at the latest TRL 2.0 iteration above and be sure to keep an eye on the brand’s official Instagram page for further release details. In other news, check out the new Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
