Simone Rizzo and Loris Messina’s SUNNEI is boundary-breaking, using its runway shows to produce crowd-surfing rock ‘n’ roll concerts and paradoxical never-ending video game universes. Now, one of its fan-favorite footwear designs is here for good, as the brand has officially released the daring 1000CHIODI slip-on shoe.First seen in September 2020 during SUNNEI’s Spring/Summer 2023 show, the shoe has since gone on to become a SUNNEI runway staple. The style climbed the viral ladder and has been in demand ever since it debuted; per the brand, “you’ve requested them in every possible way.”Now, you have multiple pairs to choose from. Each pair comprises an elastic 3D mesh structure that’s underpinned by the brand’s proprietary studded sole unit, acting as the 1000CHIODI’s main characteristic.
