After quickly selling out earlier this year, Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty’s Australian imprint Song for the Mute is now restocking apparel and footwear from its collaboration with adidas for Fall/Winter 2022. Highlighted in the re-release are the return of the Shadowturf SFTM-001 sneakers in “Dusty Pink” and “Midnight.”Decked out in adiPRENE+ and Torsion technology, the trail runners arrive in layers of mesh, leather, and suede uppers for a distinct spin on the 2000s classic. Design highlights include stylized co-branding accents on the tongue, zig-zag stitching running alongside embroidered SFTM-001 tags on the laterals, SFTM’s “bullet hole” grid formation imprinted on the heel counter, and treaded bottoms.Complimentary apparel pieces in the collaboration include a series of outdoor-ready wares including windbreakers, distressed oversized tees, short-sleeve zip-up shirts, and tear-away track pants. The Song for the Mute re-release will be available on October 12 via the brand’s CONCEPT STORE 001 and online.
