Skechers Inks Jackie Young Ahead of WNBA All-Star Weekend

Skechers has expanded its basketball endorsement roster by signing Las Vegas Aces guard Jackie Young. Known as one of the league’s most dynamic players, Young will compete in the SKX Nexus basketball shoe during the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game and the rest of the season, bringing the brand’s signature Comfort that Performs to the hardwood. The SKX Nexus is a low-top court shoe designed for speed, stability, and support—perfect for players seeking a fast and responsive feel on the court. Marketing campaigns for both on and off the court are already in the works.
The guard will sport a special Player’s Edition of the SKX Nexus during the All Star game being held in her home state of Indiana. The pair showcases two distinct designs on each shoe that together honor her extraordinary high school and college journey. The custom pair is rich with meaningful details, from her iconic “Just a kid from Princeton” mantra to the 2018 National Champion callout on the midsole heel, along with symbolic numbers like 3,268 (representing the Princeton Community High School all-time scoring record) and the numbers 3 and 5 on the heels of each shoe, signifying her jersey numbers in high school and at the University of Notre Dame, respectively.
“Joining the Skechers family feels like the perfect fit for me,” states Jackie Young. “Not only does Skechers truly support its athletes and share my passion for giving back and helping to advance women’s sports, but their basketball shoes are also incredibly comfortable. The SKX Nexus gives me the confidence I need to perform at my best, and I can’t wait to step out in them at All-Star Weekend and continue to represent the brand on the court for the rest of the season.”
Young is one of the most accomplished players in professional basketball today. A cornerstone of the Las Vegas Aces, she played a pivotal role in leading the team to its first-ever WNBA Championship in 2022. That same year, she was named the WNBA Most Improved Player. Selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 WNBA draft, her talents extend beyond the league, as she earned an Olympic Gold Medal in 3×3 Basketball at the Tokyo 2020 Games. In 2023, Young was named a WNBA All-Star for the first time.
Aligning with the hometown hero’s return for All-Star Weekend, Young was honored with a mural at the Toyota Indiana YMCA in her hometown of Princeton, IN, this week. As part of the celebration, students from Princeton Community High School and Middle School, where Young’s brother and sister serve on the coaching staff, were gifted Skechers SKX Nexus shoes during a basketball clinic led by Young.
Young joins a Skechers roster that includes basketball stars Julius Randle, Norman Powell, Terance Mann, Joel Embiid, Terry Rozier, Jabari Walker, Josh Green, Rickea Jackson, and Kiki Iriafen.

Hoop dream: WNBA All-Star Jackie Young will sport Skechers SKX Nexus court sneakers.
