Shoe Palace and PUMA Team Up with ‘Scarface’ For Special Ralph Sampson Lows?

“You gotta make the money first,” Tony Montana memorably says in Scarface. “Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power … you get the PUMAs.” That’s actually not exactly what Montana said — the final word of his quote was “women” instead of PUMA — but it works for Shoe Palace and PUMA’s new collaboration with Scarface, a clean take on the Ralph Sampson Low that’s chock-full of special details. The shoes boast a crisp white leather upper with an airbrushed, stormy sky-like detail atop their Formstrip, while Tony Montana’s name is stamped on the lateral side in gold — replacing the standard Ralph Sampson hits. Further gold detailing can be seen on the custom lace deubres, top eyestays and heel badges, but the shoe’s most opulent detail is reserved for its insole, which sports a full-color graphic of the “The World Is Yours” statue that sits in the middle of Montanna’s Miami mansion. Besides the shoes, Shoe Palace has created an expansive set of in-line Scarface apparel — sans PUMA — to accompany the drop.If you’re looking to get your Scarface on, select sizes of the Shoe Palace x PUMA x Scarface Ralph Sampson Low are available now on the Shoe Palace webstore and are priced at $90 USD.For more footwear news, check out Hypebeast’s exclusive interview with Shoe Palace creative director Frank Cooke.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
