Serena Williams Design Crew Upgrades the Nike Air Huarache

Across recent years, Serena Williams has made noise off the court courtesy of her collaborative team with Nike — the Serena Williams Design Crew (SWDC). Earlier this year, the duo took on both the Air More Uptempo and Air Max 90 Futura. Now, it’s been revealed that more is on the way with official looks at takes on the Dunk Low Disrupt 2, Air Max 1, and now the Air Huarache. In taking on the Air Huarache, SWDC has elevated the sneaker and opted to approach it from a laceless standpoint. As a result, the neoprene upper is noticeably taller and features the new collection’s signature patterning around the collar. Dressed primarily in white, strong hits of teal and gold make an appearance sparingly. At the time of writing, no release details surrounding the Serena Williams Design Crew’s take on the Nike Air Huarache have been disclosed by either party. However, with the duo’s Dunk Low Disrupt 2 arriving at the end of the month, this pair is likely to land on shelves soon via Nike and select retailers at a yet-to-be-determined price point.Looking for more of the latest news from the footwear space?
