Rone Footwear and New Balance Collide for Skate-Ready Tiago Lemos 1010

Canadian athlete Tony Ferguson has been at the forefront of skateboarding since the ’90s, proving that raw talent can’t be replaced. While continuing to cement his legacy, Ferguson established his label, Rone Footwear, after he departed from the sport and has become an icon in global street culture. Celebrating the skaters that worked alongside him, Ferguson is uniting with New Balance to set his touch on the Tiago Lemos 1010. The athlete reimagines the silhouette with a ’90s identity and pays homage to the Brazilian sportsman. Rone Footwear embraces the low-top model with smooth white leather uppers, featuring staple toe box perforations and grey New Balance insignia at the medials. Rone’s square logo is debossed into the heel counters, also mirrored onto metal lace dubraes. Zippered tongues add functionality, while ribbed rubber shields protect the perimeters throughout. The collaborative effort is complete with wavy yellowed midsoles and grey rubber bottoms. Take a closer look at the Rone Footwear x New Balance Tiago Lemos 1010 above. The limited edition pair will drop via Rone Footwear on April 27 and globally via New Balance on May 1 for $180 USD. Elsewhere, PLEASURES and Reebok reunite for Classic Leather and Nano 6000 collaboration.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
