Official Images of the Nike LeBron 20 “Violet Frost”

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers made their 2022-23 NBA Preseason debut last night against the Sacramento Kings. Unfortunately for King James and the rest of the Lakers squad, the result was a whopping 30 point loss. However, it served as an opportunity for James to show off his latest signature sneaker with Nike, the LeBron 20. Officially announced last month, the LeBron 20 has been spotted in a variety of colorways, including a Miami Heat-themed look James wore on-court last night. Another seemingly team-focused colorway includes the purple and gold “Violet Frost.”Surfacing previously in an accidental release via Finish Line, Nike has officially revealed the “Violet Frost” colorway. The colorway sticks to the silhouette’s typical construction as a special “XX” dubrae returns in silver alongside a carbon fiber midfoot shank and knit upper in purple. Most notably, the LeBron 20’s lateral purple Swoosh is partially covered by an additional Swoosh in a striking gold. Hits of salmon appear at the base Swoosh’s stitching, lace system and tongue while a lavender arrives at the midsole, resting atop an off-white multidirectional rubber outsole.Release for the Nike LeBron 20 “Violet Frost” is currently expected to take place October 15 via Nike and select Nike Basketball retailers at a price of $200 USD.In other footwear news, the Air Jordan 37 has been decorated in a Toronto Raptors-themed colorway, reminiscent of the OG Air Jordan 7 “Raptors.”

Here’s How to Get Your Hands On HAL STUDIOS®’s ASICS GEL-1130 “FOREST” Collaboration

Highs and Lows’ in-house imprint HAL STUDIOS® has a knack for pulling off a must-have collaboration, and some of its best work has been alongside the footwear giant ASICS. In April, the two came together on their first GEL-1130 collaboration, while back in September it was announced that the duo would return to the silhouette with the “FOREST” colorway. Now, we get a closer look and more information about the soon-coming pair. The label centers much of its work around the concept of “Dream Thinking,” something it describes as “an ongoing conversation, a series of case studies and collaborative projects.” Here, the brand has studied the Shinto shrines of Japan’s dense forests, in turn inspiring the theme of this next GEL-1130.Maximal minimalism is another approach that HAL STUDIOS® embodies, creating clean shoes that actually have plenty going on. The breathable mesh uppers are found in an exaggeratedly wide knit, contrasting with hairy green suede, brown leather accents, and an “Antique White” midsole unit. A clean color palette it may be, the sneaker is in fact a nod to the Japanese forests as well as retro running aesthetics, with pops of orange ushering in the latter concept.Naturally, a TRUSSTIC support system offers stability beneath the foot, while GEL cushioning provides all-day comfort. To secure a pair of these limited-edition sneakers, HAL STUDIOS® is opening up a 48-hour window around the world to place advanced orders, commending on October 5 at 4 a.m EDT/9 a.m. BST/10 a.m. CEST/5 p.m. JST/9.30 a.m. HKT/7 p.m. AEDT, which means you have a better chance of securing the shoes and also being given a pair of socks.More information can be found online. For now, take a closer look at the pair above. In other news, the UNDERCOVER x Nike Air Force 1 is coming.

Hi-Tec HTS74’s FW22 Collection Allows You to Be at One With the Weather

Since British footwear label Hi-Tec presented its TS74 subline that was inspired by older sneaker designs — such as the 1981-released “Silver Shadow” — the imprint has experimented with expressive photoshoots along with a wider variety of sneaker silhouettes that have its revitalized mainline footwear offering. With this being said, Hi-Tec TS74 has just presented its newest Fall/Winter 2022 collection and it’s inspired by the moods that are associated with each season throughout the year. The collection highlight is the HTS ELITE RGS sneaker that features an additional toe box overlay to offer added durability and glide. Combined with cross-section overlays on the upper, the design also features a Vibram RGS outsole and Vibram Rolling Gate System outsole that supports the natural movement of the foot through the walking gate that reduces muscle fatigue. As a whole, the collection is inspired by weather — more specifically mist and clouds — and with this in mind, the capsule features a melange of blue and purple hues. The color palette also explores tones of grey that are used across the uppers, lateral mid-panels and soles. Rounding off the collection, newly-interpreted versions of the HTS RGS FIZO and HTS SHADOW RG sneakers are also available. You can have a closer look at the FW22 campaign from Hi-Tec TS74 above and the full collection is available now on the official Hi-Tec website. In other footwear news, Aimé Leon Dore has presented its next batch of New Balance 650R collaborations.
