For adidas, one of its frontrunners is the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish. Created in collaboration with Pharrell, the sneaker started turning heads at Paris Fashion Week back in January and has continued to draw the attention of the masses thanks to its uniquely layered, oversized build.While new colorways of the Jellyfish continue to trickle out, it looks like the Three Stripes has a takedown version of the shoe on the way next year. Spotted this past weekend in Las Vegas, the adidas Adistar XLG 2.0 offers a less extreme take on the Jellyfish. Pictured here in “Solar Orange,” the shoe even recreates the color scheme of the Jellyfish in “Orange,” with the bright hue combining with white, silver, and black. Wavy overlays, geometric Three Stripes branding, and a large sole unit come together for a simplified rendition of Pharrell’s new model.At the time of writing, adidas has not yet officially announced the Adistar XLG 2.0 and its release info.
