Official Look at the New Balance 2002R “Arid Stone/Black Coffee”

Name: New Balance 2002R “Arid Stone/Black Coffee”Colorway: Arid Stone/Black CoffeeSKU: U2002RNMSRP: $145 USDRelease Date: Fall 2025Where to Buy: New BalanceThe enduring popularity of the New Balance 2002R continues with a stylish and versatile general release colorway: the “Arid Stone/Black Coffee.” This edition of the retro technical runner perfectly taps into the current demand for sophisticated, neutral-toned footwear while offering a clever contrast look that makes it a standout for the upcoming season. The design is grounded in an unexpected top-to-bottom color split. The upper is dominated by Arid Stone — a light, desert-inspired hue that coats the premium suede and mesh overlays. This pale tone offers a clean, refined base that is sharply contrasted by the Black Coffee applied to the mesh upper and branding. This light/dark juxtaposition provides immediate visual intrigue, preventing the shoe from settling into a simple monochrome aesthetic. The shoe retains the technical specifications that made the 2002R a favorite, including the responsive ABZORB midsole cushioning and the shock-absorbing N-ergy® outsole. These combined technologies ensure both stability and all-day comfort, seamlessly translating the model’s 2000s running DNA into a modern lifestyle staple. The New Balance 2002R “Arid Stone/Black Coffee” is set to hit New Balance.com and partnering retailers in the coming weeks with a retail price of $145 USD.

The adidas Adistar XLG 2.0 Sports a Familiar Build

Name: adidas Adistar XLG 2.0 “Solar Orange”Colorway: Core Black/Solar OrangeSKU: HQ7468MSRP: $150 USDRelease Date: February 5, 2026Where to Buy: adidasAs the end of the year draws near, it’s almost time to look back on 2025’s launches and determine which will earn the title of sneaker of the year. For adidas, one of its frontrunners is the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish. Created in collaboration with Pharrell, the sneaker started turning heads at Paris Fashion Week back in January and has continued to draw the attention of the masses thanks to its uniquely layered, oversized build. While new colorways of the Jellyfish continue to trickle out, it looks like the Three Stripes has a takedown version of the shoe on the way next year. Spotted this past weekend in Las Vegas, the adidas Adistar XLG 2.0 offers a less extreme take on the Jellyfish. Pictured here in “Solar Orange,” the shoe even recreates the color scheme of the Jellyfish in “Orange,” with the bright hue combining with white, silver, and black. Wavy overlays, geometric Three Stripes branding, and a large sole unit come together for a simplified rendition of Pharrell’s new model. At the time of writing, adidas has not yet officially announced the Adistar XLG 2.0 and its release info. However, we currently expect it to debut in this “Solar Orange” colorway on February 5 of next year via adidas and select retailers at a starting price of $150 USD. Enjoy this early look at the model and stay tuned for updates, including official images, as we continue to monitor the Three Stripes’ rollout of the new silhouette.
