After suffering a gruesome ACL tear injury back in September 2020, NFL running back Saquon Barkley now finds himself back in the lineup for the New York Giants. And to celebrate his return to the gridiron, Nike has fashioned the speedy athlete his own Air Trainer 3 colorway which has just surfaced thanks to Canadian retailer Livestock.The uppers possess a healthy blend of both neutral tones and colorful accents. The former is seen through the “Pearl White” cages, mid-foot and toe tip overlays and the lower throat straps, along with pure white notes that pop up through the perforated toe boxes, quarter panels and collars, as well as the backdrops of the tongues. Lateral Swooshes are done up with a NY Giants-esque blue, while the forefoot Swooshes usher in hits of yellow and the midsole molds contrast with a bright crimson. Doses of green show face on Barkley’s personal logo on the heels, and the tongues swap out the usual Nike branding for his jersey number “26” in bold orange.These Saquon Barkley x Nike Air Trainer 3s are available now via Livestock for $180 CAD (approx $142 USD), and it’s likely that Nike could be dropping these in the coming weeks.In case you missed it, another image of Patta’s Nike Air Max 1 “Monarch” has popped up.

Among the five — soon to be six — models in New Balance’s 990 line, the 990v3 seems to hold a special place in many a sneakerhead’s heart. First released in 2012 to celebrate the original 990’s 30th anniversary, it’s become a favorite the world over for its combination of classic comfort, compelling color schemes and cornucopia of collaborations. Now, in 2021, it’s again a key piece of New Balance’s lifestyle push, one that’s set to return in three classic colorways: black, navy, and red.Black and navy both feature a standard mesh upper, while red uses a nylon-like material to diverge from its counterparts. Key branded details on all three pairs are supplied by midfoot N logos, a 990v3 hit towards the lateral heel and a New Balance spellout graphic on the tongue. The black pair adds a little vibrance with silver midfoot logos and a red tongue hit, the navy pair keeps things cool with silver and red stylings of its own and the red pair brings its temperature down a touch with silver and black detailing. Each is completed by a three-tone midsole that uses classic ENCAP cushioning for all-day comfort. All three of these New Balance 990v3s can be pre-ordered now at Saks Fifth Avenue, and are expected to ship no later than November 3. Nike Sportswear looks to release the Air Griffey Max 1 in a “Wheat” color scheme to match the upcoming Autumn season scenery. The latest colorway follows the debut of the four-shoe pack inspired by Baseball Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr.’s legacy and on-field feats.With only a few baseball players who’ve had the opportunity of receiving their very own signature shoe, the Swoosh brand and Griffey Jr.’s Air Max 1 has made quite an impact in recent years with offerings such as the offering which honors Jackie Robinson who broke baseball’s color barrier in the early 40s.This time instead of an all-leather outfitted design, the shoe opts for a full suede upper in “Wheat” with pops of white hitting the main forefoot Swoosh, laces, ankle strap details and heel branding. A white midsole encases dark Fuschia Air units while a gum rubber outsole rounds up the design of the shoe.Look out for the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Wheat” to release in the coming weeks at select retailers and on Nike’s website for $140 USD.Elsewhere in footwear, the Nike Air Total Max Uptempo takes on a throwback “White/Midnight Navy” colorway.
