Kickers Drops Its Spring-Ready Kick Hi “Pastel Pack”

First launched in 1975, Kickers’ archetypal Kick Hi boot has become arguably its most recognized silhouette. After its rise to prominence throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s — after it was worn religiously by the likes of David Bowie, Jarvis Cocker and Noel Gallagher — the boot has been a staple across the world of menswear ever since. Now for Spring/Summer 2021, Kickers has given the Kick Hi a spring injection, dressing the boot in four pastel colorways of “Salmon”, “Mint”, “Lilac” and yellow.Featuring the traditional leather upper and classic gum sole, each boot is finished with the quintessential contrasting stitching and matching hangtag for good measure. The “Pastel Pack” is available to buy now from the Kickers webstore, retailing at £90 (approxiamtely $123 USD).In other news, Sean Wotherspoon’s adidas Originals ZX 8000 SUPEREARTH is finally releasing.

Dover Street Market Equips Vans’ Slip-On and Authentic With Its House Logo

April 12 marks the U.K.’s reopening of restaurants, hairdressers, and non-essential shops, and one imprint that’s celebrating the occasion (in style as per usual) is Dover Street Market. Alongside its in-store activations, exclusive collection launches, and a new display of installations, comes DSM’s latest collaboration with Vans, this time around taking on the UA OG Classic Slip-On LX and the Authentic LX.Just like the much-loved Old Skool (which has also been restocked for the re-opening of the store), the Slip-On and Authentic feature a classic Vans black-and-white checkerboard canvas upper decorated with DSM logos all around. The logo is the same as the one you’ll find throughout DSM’s branding, displaying its moniker in a black house. If you look closely, you’ll notice how these branded houses actually form some of the black squares on the checkered print, giving the design contrast and more shape than just squares. Pairs such as the Authentic LX are fitted with lush suede on the heel, while all designs are finished with Vans’ signature “Off The Wall” license plate on the heel and more branding on the half-leather insoles.Take a look at the Dover Street Market x Vans drop above, and shop all three styles on Dover Street Market’s website or in-store now. Pricing ranges from £75 GBP to £80 GBP (approx. $103 USD — $110 USD).For those looking to round out today’s shopping trip with some good food, here are London’s best independent restaurants that are offering outside seating from today.

Sean Wotherspoon’s adidas Originals ZX 8000 SUPEREARTH Is Finally Releasing

Sean Wotherspoon’s adidas Originals ZX 8000 SUPEREARTH has been teased and touted for a release for months now, following news that came in February that the “A-ZX Series” sneaker would be dropping in March. Alas, this release never came — but fear not, as the shoe is about to hit stores and stockists very soon.As you’re probably already well-aware of, the SUPEREARTH falls under adidas Originals’ sustainable push and features a heavy mix of materials that comes together for a patchwork, quilt-like upper. Textured cotton fabrics hitting the toe box, mid-panel and Three Stripes to tartan check prints and the bold use of embroidery all appear on the sneaker, with the latter showing its frayed aesthetic draping from the floral design and onto the ground.SUPEREARTH and SW branding appears on the tongue and heel respectively, while adidas’ moniker has been added to the toe box in the form of a tag to switch things up even more so — and, of course, all over the medial side as multicolored Trefoil logos. More unique details are showcased in the clear TPU heel cage that shows a mixed variety of threads stuck inside the clip, while components such as the sole unit have been finished in “Off White” to give the shoe some space to breathe. The Wotherspoon-designed adidas Originals ZX 8000 SUPEREARTH is finally releasing on April 16 through adidas’ CONFIRMED App and at select stockists worldwide, costing £110 GBP per pair (approx. $151 USD). Take a closer look at the anticipated sneaker above. In case you missed it, check out this week’s installment of Sole Mates. This time around, Joe La Puma tells HYPEBEAST about his love for the Air Jordan 4.
