Cartoon franchises have become the latest realm to work their way into the collaborative world of sneakers, and now Reebok has teamed up with Power Rangers for a take on the legendary Question Mid.In recent months, we’ve been treated to The Simpsons x adidas Originals, Spongebob SquarePants x Vans, and at a stretch, more cartoonish joy is set to take center stage amidst the return of Jeremy Scott x adidas. Now, Reebok is getting in on the action — following on from its Toy Story link-up — with a Power Rangers take on Allen Iverson’s Question Mid silhouette.Since 1996, the Question Mid has barely changed. It still features a visible Hexalite cushioning system and the combination of mesh with leather remains — yet all has been overhauled thanks to the Power Rangers franchise. Here, it’s covered in the colors of the ‘Rangers, with silver, blue, red, yellow, and black taking on most of the sneaker’s design.Metallic silver leather has been used on the lower part of the side panel and for a section of the collar-heel wraparound, while black leather bolsters the base of the upper. Yellow and red patches have been added on top of this, while blue and white, or yellow and red, can be found on the toes — switching between the shoes for an asymmetric finish.Rounding out the theme is Power Rangers-covered insoles, which when removed, reveal a statement reading “Time for my funtacular, spectacular, feracious, bodacious, authophonic, morphinonic jam.”Take a look at the Power Rangers x Reebok Question Mid above, and head over to Sivasdescalzo where they’ll drop on June 15 for €180 EUR (approx. $220 USD).In other news, here are this week’s biggest footwear drops.

All-White Air Jordan 1 Low Gets a Mesh and Leather Makeover
Jordan Brand is set to release a new breathable mesh and leather mash-up rendition for the Air Jordan 1 Low.Constructed in a crisp all-white color blocking, the Nike sneaker is perfect for the summer months. The low-top Air Jordan 1 features matching tonal branding throughout, giving the shoe a clean design that relies heavily on its iconic silhouette. The open-mesh is seen on the side panels, toe box as well as tongues. The mesh is contrasted with leather overlays that rest atop the solid white rubber sole to round out the design. Though a simple design, additional web-like textures are seen underneath the mesh panels, further providing an extra pinch of detailing to an otherwise minimal shoe. The all-white mesh and leather Air Jordan 1 is expected to release in the coming weeks at select retailers and online at Nike. The retail price for the pair is set at $90 USD.Elsewhere in footwear, the Ishod Wair x Magnus Walker Nike SB Dunk High has an official release date.
