Off-White™ has released its low-cut 5.0 sneaker in a classic black, white and tan makeup. Thanks to its easy-to-wear colorway and a shape somewhat reminiscent of adidas’ SC Premiere, the model makes for an optimal “daily driver” for fans of the Virgil Abloh-helmed house, and is a noted departure from Off-White™’s more boisterous styles like the Off-Court 3.0.The upper’s base is made of a tightly woven white textile, which is overlaid by black and white leather pieces on the heel plus tan suede eyestays and mudguards. Its most interesting piece, however, is the surplus white leather eyestay that droops down over the lateral quarter, providing asymmetrical texture and a new interpretation of the cobbled-together ethos that propelled Off-White™’s Nike and Jordan Brand collaborations to popularity. The brand’s face-and-hands logo is spread across tongues and insoles, and also appears on the fittingly-colored off-white midsole where it’s debossed into the heel. A marbled black and white zip tie rounds off the look.Interested parties can purchase the Off-White™ 5.0 sneaker in black, white and tan at retailers like HBX. Its MSRP is set at $433 USD.For more footwear news, be sure to take a look at official images of Aleali May’s Air Jordan 14 Low collaboration.

Official Images of the Air Jordan 12 Utility “Grind”
Jordan Brand first revealed the Air Jordan 12 Utility in an ecologically-conscious “Grind” makeup as part of its fall 2021 Air Jordan retro collection, and now official images of the sustainable style have surfaced. Boasting a stately construction, sporty accents and recycled detailing, the AJ 12 Utility “Grind” is the first iteration of Michael Jordan’s twelfth signature sneaker to tout its use of reprocessed materials. Kicking things off is a premium black leather upper with familiar stitched detailing and metallic silver top eyelets. Mudguards are made from black suede — a notable departure from the 12’s standard pebbled leather mudguard — and a little flair is provided by red trim around the midfoot badge plus red-rimmed “TWO 3” graphics and Air Jordan badges on the tongue. Black heel tabs with anthracite branding round off the top half.Down below, midsoles are loaded with Zoom Air units for comfort. They slide between a basketball-like texture on the forefoot and a smooth texture on the heel while also sitting above the signature “Grind” detail: an ice blue outsole made of recycled rubber. The recycled content is on full display in this special outsole thanks to black and silver rubber flecks, with a signature carbon fiber midfoot plate and black herringbone traction offering finishing touches of support and traction. The Air Jordan 12 Utility “Grind” is currently set to release on August 28, pending official confirmation from Jordan Brand. Its MSRP is set at a standard $190 USD.For more footwear news, take a look at the latest installment of HYPEBEAST’s weekly Sole Mates series, in which guests share personal stories about their favorite sneakers.
ESENES Worldwide Creates Star-Covered CREAMSTA Sneaker
Founded by designer Justin Son, ESENES Worldwide is a brand based on self-belief — its name is pronounced “SNS,” shorthand for “sorry not sorry” — and experimentation, the latter of which is the inspiration for its new CREAMSTA sneaker. A star-covered style that’s part BAPESTA, part Air Force 1 and entirely attention-demanding, the CREAMSTA draws from Son’s interest in learning and connecting more with the greater universe. The CREAMSTA’s entire upper is covered in various-sized white leather stars, which are embroidered directly onto its tan suede and white leather build. A single star with a tail is present on each side’s quarter panel, while a chocolate brown UFO graphic is stamped on the heel and an ESENES spellout is emblazoned on the tongue tag. Insoles feature a wavy blue pattern with a warped white text hit, while coffee brown midsoles and chocolate brown outsoles round off the look.CREAMSTAs aren’t Son’s first exploration into footwear: in 2020 he created the “Ooze Air” to support the Black Lives Matter movement — and donated half of its proceeds to the Colin Kaepernick-backed Know Your Rights Camp. His other sneaker designs have raised funds for causes like the United Way Wildfire Relief and the Fresh Air Fund.Expect the ESENES Worldwide CREAMSTA to be available on the brand’s webstore in early September alongside its first full apparel drop. The MSRP is set at $259 USD.For more footwear news, check out the latest installment of HYPEBEAST’s weekly Sole Mates series, in which guests share personal stories about their favorite sneakers.
