Aries has reunited with Vans for the second time, coming four years after their limited-edition release in 2017. The collection of footwear and apparel incorporates a wide range of influences, from messages of self-expression and creativity to Americana references and Aries’ signature graphic identity. The footwear in the collection includes two colorways of the Vans Authentic — one arriving in tie dye and tiger stripe, while the other features a multicolor marijuana leaf pattern — and the Sk8-Mid, with two brighter colorways. Rounding out the footwear is the Era and Chukka, both of which feature tie dye designs. The graphic reference comes from a “customize your own Vans” poster Aries founder Sofia Prantera discovered while working at Slam City Skates. “We wanted the collaboration to follow this accidental recipe; some colours don’t quite match like they have been made of found pieces of material; graphics and logos are incoherent; random apocalyptic stories appear on the soles; while the phrase “go your own way” and “Art Trip” reinforce the message of individuality and rule breaking that is shared by both brands.”As well as footwear, the collection also features a range of apparel pieces. The clothing, such as hoodies and tees, continues the graphic themes, with tie dye items, and a mixture of Vans’ logo houses with Aries’ signature temple graphic.Take a look at the collaboration in the gallery above. The full collection is due to release via the Aries web store on August 21.For more Vans Sk8-Mids, refresh your memory of JJJJound’s recent release.

The Air Jordan 5 Is Seen Crafted in a “Jade Horizon” Colorway
Following the revival of the Air Jordan 5 “Oreo” from 2013, Jordan Brand is giving the iconic silhouette a “Jade Horizon” makeover. The design takes on a full muted jade nubuck upper with the laces following the same hue which is held with a metallic pink lace clip. The laterals open up with semi-transparent holed panels while yellowed eye stays border a metallic gray tongue. Black midsoles feature speckled shark teeth embellishments and is met by yellowed outsole sections. The Jordan 5 “Jade Horizon” has yet to see an official release date, but is rumored to hit the market by December 4 according to @zsneakerheadz.In case you missed it, Jordan Brand uncovered an Air Jordan 1 Low “Pollen” colorway.
Cactus Jack Deleted Over 3 Million Bot Entries for Its Travis Scott x fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low Raffle
Like the Travis Scott x fragment x Air Jordan 1 Highs, the Travis Scott x fragment x Air Jordan 1 Lows have experienced a staggering number of sneaker bots. While the Highs had some bots entering raffles up to 32,000 times, this next bit of news, posted on Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Discord channel, revealed that over three million fraudulent bot raffle entries had to be filtered and deleted on its platform alone. As one of the hottest (and lucrative) shoes this year, this shoe has been making its rounds online via the biggest celebrities and sports stars. Its success has taken its $150 USD MSRP to prices well over the $1,300 USD mark on the secondary market and has even led OGs like Bobby Hundreds to question if a physical product even needs to be made at all. With three million bots on Cactus Jack alone, it’s easy to understand why so many people didn’t get ’em.3 million fraudulent bot entries ? pic.twitter.com/f5WGDj2oC6— J23 iPhone App (@J23app) August 13, 2021 View this post on Instagram A post shared by Bobby Hundreds (@bobbyhundreds)In other footwear news, check out our latest Sole Mates with Aitch and his pair of KAWS x Air Jordan 4.
