Nike’s Japan-only CO.JP (short for “Concept Japan”) line and atmos go way back — all the way back to the turn of the century, in fact. Now, in celebration of CO.JP’s influence and impact on global sneaker culture, atmos is hosting a CO.JP archive exhibit in Tokyo.atmos founder Hirofumi “Koji” Kojima recently took to his Instagram to show off the exhibit, which is located by the atmos Sendagaya store. It’s shaped to look like a giant early ’00s Nike shoebox, and even features a “size label” on its front that features the exhibition’s dates, times and more in clever fashion. Inside the space is a rectangular glass case that holds everything from rare Dunks, Air Force 1s, Air Maxes and atmos collaborations to cult favorites like the Air Rift and old school Nike ACG product, ringed on all sides by glass wall displays with shoes of their own. The atmos-sponsored Nike CO.JP archive exhibit is located at 150-0001 3-16-9 Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. It’s on view until August 25, and is open from 11 AM to 7 PM Tokyo time. Nike ISPA’s ISPA Flow 2020 offers a lightweight mix of breathability and structure designed to combat a common problem: hot feet in the summer. It was originally introduced as part of ISPA’s 2020 footwear line, but it’s continuing its run in 2021 with a new teal-soled colorway.Though this ISPA features a somewhat wild color combo, it’s simply dubbed “Black” on Nike SNKRS. Strange moniker aside, the “Black” features an ultra-thin gray and black upper, made from synthetic materials. Laces boast repeating ISPA branding, while hits of maroon and gold appear around the collar. Mesh cut-outs can be seen on the lateral and medial sides alike. On the latter, this stripped-back detail is surrounded by a teal TPU circle that drops down into the teal midsole, providing a touch of Air Presto-like arch support with its own debossed ISPA hit. These sharply-carved midsoles are made entirely of React foam and are elongated towards the heel, where another TPU shank provides a finishing dash of stability.The Nike ISPA Flow 2020 “Black” is set to release on Nike SNKRS come August 31. Crafted from Italian leather with hair on hide, the shoe is presented in its most luxurious form to date with details such as an Italian buckle strap appearing with a shiny silver buckle decorating the upper.A stacked Kilger leather midsole from Germany has been fitted underneath and is lined with the U.S.A.-made Vibram outsole, which offers durability and traction to the otherwise smooth bottom.
