Fresh off of unveiling its full collection for the FW21 season, the Y-3 family has officially unveiled two of its newest footwear silhouettes — the Y-3 QISAN COZYand Y-3 AJATU RUN. Both propositions are sleek and fashion forward in their visual composition and feature functional design elemets.Kicking things off is the Y-3 QISAN COZY which was inspired by one of Yohji Yamamoto’s most recognizable models in the Y-3 QASA. Uppers are manufactured with a slip-on neoprene upper that is paired up with suede arches that are stationed at the mid-foot and synthetic overlays that grace the toe boxes. Printed over the bridge of the foot is Y-3 branding in crisp white and the heels are feature a rubber mold that’s backdropped in gray. Midsoles are semi-chunky in stature and come complemented with a black mold that starts at the toe box and runs about 3/4 of its length. Additionally, exaggerated tabs are slapped onto the tongues and the heels.The Y-3 AJATU RUN — while similar in style — arrives with a slightly more understated look. Base layers are crafted with a blend of premium suede, woven textiles and mesh materials and is topped with rubber and neoprene detailing. Y-3 branded hits poke out through the tongues and heels and a black wire wraps from the collars to the heels. The white and black sole units match that of the Y-3 QISAN in both color and size.Both models are slated to drop on on August 5 via Y-3, Confirmed, in store and select retailers.Elsewhere in footwear news, a brand new adidas YEEZY 700 V2 “Mauve” colorway has surfaced.

Kanye West and adidas’ YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 is set to release in a familiar “Mauve” colorway. Originally debuting on a YEEZY BOOST 700 back in October 2018, “Mauve” is an earthy color scheme that’s in line with adidas YEEZY’s slate of muted releases from the late 2010s, and here it’s even more low-key than it was on its 2018 debut.The shoe’s top half is built from a brown mesh, which is overlaid with gray suede and embellished with a tonal, abstract Three Stripe graphic on the midfoot. Rope laces provided flecked flair, and midsoles are done up entirely in brown — a divergence from the above-mentioned YEEZY BOOST 700, which added dashes of neon yellow. These thick and chunky midsoles conceal a full-length BOOST cushioning setup, and the look is finalized by classic gum outsoles.A release date for the adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 “Mauve” has yet to be announced, but early reports place it at sometime in August — potentially as part of the forthcoming YEEZY Day festivities. It’s been quite the festive Summer for Virgil Abloh as he’s managed to create major news headlines in the realms of fashion and footwear. This is especially true for his initiatives alongside Nike, and after revealing his trio of takes atop the Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% alongside its accompanying apparel for the Tokyo Olympics, the popular designer is in preparation to launch his whopping “The 50” Dunk Low collection this August. And now, the 04 and 06 colorways have just revealed themselves by way of detailed imagery.Apart from pairs 01 and 50 in the capsule, a majority of the pairs are styled with similar upper constructions. The smooth leather base layers are coordinated with a blend of white finishes on the quarters, toe boxes and collars while the Swooshes and overlays are dyed in a lighter gray hue. On the 04 makeup, the second set of laces that weave throughout the upper arrive with a minty teal tone and come complemented with a black hang tag. Hang tags that are placed on the heels are colored with a bright yellow and the midsole mold features a pop of purple.Its release sibling deviates with a fluorescent orange set of laces, peachy hang tags and a golden yellow midsole mold. Additionally, the hang tag out back bears a volt green exterior.No official release date has been revealed just yet but you can cxpect these to drop sometime in August via SNKRS.Elsewhere in footwear news, a closer look at the NBA x Nike Dunk Low “Bulls” iteration has emerged.
