Nipsey Hussle’s The Marathon Clothing and PUMA have teamed up for the second time in 2021 to create a new collection dubbed “The Miami Story.” The first in a forthcoming series of capsules inspired by Hussle’s friendship with stylist Groovey Lew and the unique looks they’d create together, “The Miami Story” draws its crisp and cool color palette from Miami’s blue waters and sandy beaches.Five items are included in the offering, namely co-branded shirts, blue Bermuda shorts and blue pants plus an all-white take on the Future Rider sneaker. As can be seen in the collection’s lookbook photos — which star India Love and Crystal Westbrooks — the offerings feature special details like rubberized TMC flag graphics and make use of various blue shades for a laid-back look. The crisp Future Rider’s all-white build is a continuation of the elegant monochromatic ethos espoused on Hussle’s past footwear collaborations like the Suede and California. Look for The Marathon Clothing and PUMA’s “The Miami Story” collection to release on the PUMA webstore, PUMA’s New York City flagship store and select retail partners come August 13. MSRPs run from $45 USD to $90 USD.On the hunt for more news about upcoming sneaker releases? Take a look at the latest installment of HYPEBEAST’s weekly Best Footwear Drops series.

F/CE. and Converse’s Collaborative QAK CP GORE-TEX Hi is Built for Inclement Weather
We’ve seen Converse push out a superfluity of compelling collaborations in 2021 thus far including that of a new Chuck 70 Hi with Tyler, The Creator’s GOLF WANG imprint and a striking Rick Owens DRKSHDW x Converse TURBODRK Chuck 70 Ox. And now to ring in the Fall/Winter time — where the weather tends to get slightly more inclement — the One Star brand is linking up with F/CE. for a QAK CP GORE-TEX Hi boot that’s fit for the seasonal transition. The high-cut silhouette boats heavy technical design sensibilities and is reinforced with GORE-TEX uppers to keep your soles cozy and dry in wetter conditions. Various shades of alternate among its base layer paneling, the darkest area begin the collars while the lightest sections are found on the quarters. The latter is punched out with a Converse logo and abstractly-shaped holes. Out back, there’s a cage that holds the top of the laces in place and features a debossed “Converse Camping Supply” spell out. Charcoal tabs are present down the throat and the heels, the latter of which hosts a black “GORE-TEX” tab. The Nike LeBron 9 Returns with All-New “South Coast” Colorway
It’s been ten years since Nike debuted LeBron James’ LeBron 9, so to celebrate the anniversary Nike Basketball will be bringing back the LeBron 9 in 2021. Following up the return of the LeBron 7 in 2019 and the revival of the LeBron 8 in 2020, the LeBron 9’s comeback is bound to be an expansive one — and it’s kicking off with an all-new colorway dubbed “South Coast.”Big, bold, boisterous and bright in the way so many of King James’ early 2010s releases were, the “South Coast” supplies a black upper that’s trimmed with bright blue and embellished with volt green on the Swooshes, lace detail and heel. Though this duo of secondary colors gives off some slight “Sprite” vibes, these are quickly offset by way of a tropical red and blue print on the collar lining. Down below, clear heel Air units and a patterned carbon fiber midfoot plate are surrounded by white EVA foam. Icy blue outsoles finalize the look. The Nike LeBron 9 first saw on-court action during the lockout-shortened 2011-12 NBA season, during which LeBron captured his first title with the Miami Heat. Only time will tell how the 2021-22 NBA season will play out, but you’ll likely see the LeBron 9 on court along with the forthcoming LeBron 19 as King James chases another ring with the Los Angeles Lakers. A retail price and date of arrival should be made available in the coming weeks as well. For more news on upcoming sneaker releases, take a look at the latest installment of HYPEBEAST’s weekly Best Footwear Drops series.
